I wanna learn more about Nea/Claudette because that seems rlly cute uwu
Ooooh I’m so glad ‘cause I really love Nea and Claudette as a ship and I see a tiny bit of it here and there but not nearly enough. There’s just so much shipping options with DBD so I can’t blame people but here’s my take:
I Headcanon that they both thought one another was attractive physically, despite their opposite appearance and personalities. Problem is, Claudette isn’t great with social cues, and Nea is a clueless bisexual.
Claudette would confide to Meg about it, and Meg would egg her on to do something; if you’re gonna be stuck in purgatory hell might as well try to make it more bearable, right? But Claudette was too shy.
Nea would also confide to Meg, talking about how pretty Claudette was. So it’s Meg who is like, watching them and being like “Do you not realize you like each other?? Are you both blind or something???” ‘Cause look, I love me some oblivious girls in love.
I also like that they are opposites and that opposites attract. Nea is obnoxious and immature, extroverted, cocky etc, while Claudette is more reserved, shy, mature, and while she isn’t afraid to raise her voice when she needs to, she has social anxieties that make her nervous about people not liking her. They balance each other out!
I think Claudette would be a good influence on Nea and that Nea would be a good influence on Claudette as well. It wouldn’t hurt for Nea to have someone more grounded in her life, and Claudette could benefit from being encouraged to step out of her comfort zone more.
Also I have... Headcanons and ideas for an Escaped!AU for them and I’d like to write oneshots and stuff I just get caught up in Darker Stuff with writing. The domestic fluff almost never makes it past my brain owo; BUT if you wanna hear about it... just ask :D
