‘George’ oil on linen canvas board, 30cm x 24cm Fun experiment painting my ‘white, Greek rescue dog George. White is never really just ‘white’. To make it interesting there has to be so many more colours involved. I learnt a trick from some of the @lara.atelier teachers about making a painting sparkle. By placing very pale pastels of pink, blue, yellow, purple etc you can bring a high-light/painting alive. I’ve tried to utilise lots of these pastels in this painting of George.
