✨ALTHEA ABBOTT APPRECIATION WEEK✨

Her parents are members of the Order of the Phoenix, so at the beginning of her fifth year, Hannah and Althea are staying at Grimmauld Place with the Weasleys, Harry, and Hermione. It took Althea all of five minutes to warm up to Sirius Black once she'd heard the whole story.

She had been planning to tell Cedric how she felt once the Triwizard Tournament was over. She now never waits to tell someone how she feels, because she's scared she'll never get the chance to say it. She tells Theodore Nott she likes him in the middle of fifth year.

Sixth year introduced the Slug Club, and she was extended an invite due to her proficiency in potions. She was unable to attend many events, as she was pulled from the year alongside her sister following the death of their mother.

During their seventh year, under the reign of the Carrows, Althea, Sue, and Ernie made it their personal mission to prevent any harm coming to the younger students. They were joined in their movement by Neville, who led the Gryffindors in rebellion, Cho, the Ravenclaws, and Theodore Nott, who spearheaded the Slytherins. They were a miserable, meager handful of students, but they were still better than nothing. They would proudly wear their scars.

She learned French from Theodore, whose mother was a Delacour, and spoke to him when he was younger. He pursued the language in remembrance of her, despite and to spite his father. He and Althea had whole private conversations during their seventh year, plotting the revolt against the Carrows in French.
