I, um... hello to my many new followers? I hope you will not be bored by my tumblr? (Seriously, when did I hit 66?!) I don’t think I’ve ever done a post of who I am or the like so...
I do my best to stay non-offensive, and I’m older than most... and very very boring. I write scientific articles for local papers/zines, peer-edit science papers and professional edit as well (mostly sci-fi/science-fantasy but tech papers, generic essays and the like as well). I also work carpentry/house-flipping/construction, but the wreck of my right knee and hip has stolen most of my ability to continue to work in that field. I’m a member of a super-massive (over 2K members) super-diverse (all 6 continents represented and a mostly minority) family and am ‘Team Mom’ or ‘Big Sister’ or ‘Auntie’ to a LOT of people. I’ve an eclectic database of trivia and data that I’ve picked up over the decades and love having discussions about... pretty much anything. I’m also usually willing to at the very least go over fanfics for free, although I sometimes am not able due to schedule/making enough to make ends meet.
But basically. Boring old geek.
