Because the problem with this argument is that saying it in an aroace way and saying it in an homophobic way is completely indistinguishable and when it comes to wlw especially since wlw relationships are literally always seen like glorified friendships I sincerely don’t give a fuck. They’re dating.

But when it comes to het couples, where there is like an actual societial push for f/m friendships to just date and plenty of people who believe that being friends with the opposite sex is a means to end of being in a relationship, yeah, Why can’t they just be friends huh.
