((Sorry for my english if i make any mistakes rn)) but I was wondering - does MC ever feel sad about how everyone in HQ view her?? I mean, I know someone like Oikawa or Iwaizumi lost their best friend and MC feels sad for them, but the others ?? I mean, i'd think they only like me because I have face of their ex-lover or friend and not because I am "me". 😭 if u know what i mean!!

Ooft this is a bit of a long one haha.

I'm assuming that you have read all the latest chapters too but this was actually briefly addressed in one the recent chapters, when MC was speaking with Ushijima!

In the end, MC's priority at the moment in the story is the Rot and the other issues going on in the world so she isn't beat up about being mistaken as AltMC or anything. MC has already come to terms with that earlier in the story, understanidng and realizing that she indeed shares the same face as AltMC and that AltMC had a part in their lives before her appearance; MC does not blame characters like Oikawa for sometimes seeing AltMC in MC.

That being said, when Ushijima spoke to her on the Wall, MC was touched and moved by his words that essentially saw her as her own person and not AltMC! Her feelings over it is not on the surface, it's not at the forefront of her mind because there are so many other things she has to think about and struggle with so MC did not even realize until that moment that perhaps a small part of her maybe felt a sense of insecurity in how they perceive her; but do not mistake this insecurity as jealousy or sadness over AltMC!

Her insecurity has always been in her strengths as her own person and her time in Hyquile has indeed helped her grow and every time her help was acknowledged, MC envelops it into her heart deeply as someone who is insecure. At the same time, her powers did come from AltMC and she knows that she is crucial because of this power.

So when Ushijima tells her to take care of herself because she is important too, he resonated with the silenced side of MC that has been pushed to the back of her mind in favor of everything else - that she herself, as a person, is important not because of her powers or because of AltMC.

AltMC Fanfic!!??!!!

Not the next chapter but @thatlofiguy​ wrote a superbly bittersweet fanfic for Ghosts We See! What’s more, this time it is centered around AltMC from the POV of a Childhood friend Male!Reader!!!???!!!?

This was so beautifully written, and I honestly felt sad after reading it. Made me rethink my choices to do AltMC dirty in GWS.

When I first started GWS, I never imagined anyone would be interested in the other characters beyond what is necessary to understand the plot, as the audience base of GWS is largely those who:

1)Read HQ, 

2) Female audience being a Fem!MC centric fic.

I never once expected AltMC to even gain a fan, and it was honestly to my great and pleasant surprise when someone who hasn’t even read HQ loved the story and AltMC enough to write something for her.  This is honestly one of the greatest honors and compliments I can receive as a fanfic author T__T

I always imagined how it was like for alt!mc , for her to leave her home to the palace . She must have felt really lonely at first, feeling displaced as if she didnt fit in . I can imagine her visiting the palace gardens during her free time cause it reminded her most of her home back in the village, the trees gave her the same type of warmth and then dance to the soft rustling leaves in the background , dancing the way her body let's her . Maybe sometimes prince oikawa would watch her twirl as a free bird admist a place she must now accept as her new home . Hehe this could be a parallel moment to the time Mc was dancing in the garden when she gave herself in to the kingdom of aoba hehe. -- nim anon

It’s a different take from what most people who think about AltMC will have, and I found it refreshingly unique! Highly recommend if you are wondering/in AltMC hours XD

A little to much coffee | Nick & Blaine

 Blaine was now slightly worried to go see Nick at Liam Bean. Yes, he knows Nick gets very hyper very easily but who knows how many coffees he had had so far. Blaine shut his computer and picked up his phone, wallet, and keys before heading out of his room, into the cool fall air and towards Liam Bean. Blaine hadn’t really talked to Nick since school let out a few months ago, which he wished he did but the past is the past and at least now he was going to hang out with him.

Once Blaine got there he had to look around the crowded café for a little while before he found is extremely hyper brown haired friend sitting at a table on the far side. Blaine made his way to the table and sat down across from Nick, “Hey, Nick.” He said, with a grin, “Long time no see.”
