Ed braiding Winry’s hair??
hi!!! sorry this took forever and doesn't look that good lol, I'm in a bad art block. but !!! here it is
I recently played a centaur PC in a dnd game, and I used a lot of your centuar things to figure out how she sleeps and other little tidbits of centuar things that people asked me about. So thanks (and centuars are amazing, they're some of my favorite creatures)!!
Yaaaas this is exactly why I share all my silly thoughts!! Go out and have more fun with centaur characters!!
I have a bunch of sleeping centaur ideas drawn out, I just need to finish them up and post them..
Okay that fact about horses' respiratory rate was super interesting, any other Nifty Horse Facts??
Oh boy, you have no idea what you’re asking. I am full of nifty horse facts.
-horses can see almost 360 degrees when their heads are down to graze. However, they cannot see directly in front of them. When horses jump, they can’t see what they are jumping and judge where to take off by looking at the sides of the fence, which is why “skinnies” are very tough.
-horses cannot breathe through their mouths. They also cannot vomit. They CAN and DO sleep lying down though, and need to do so for REM sleep, but they don’t need as much of that as we do.
-Arabian horses have one less lumbar vertebrae than other breeds and I used to know why but that information has been dumped out of my brain to make room for song lyrics.
-A horse’s heart is about the size of your head. They can contract their spleen to push more red blood cells into circulation, giving them increased oxygen carrying capacity in emergencies.
- most horses have a moment of suspension-all four legs are off the ground-during the gait cycle of the gallop. Really fast ones have two moments of suspension during the gait cycle of the gallop, which means those old time images of galloping horses are not entirely incorrect.
-appaloosa is actually an ancient color and not a newer one as once believed
I love horses. I learned better coping skills from horses than I ever did from my own species. I love the smell of them, the way they sound and how they feel. I love rubbing their withers and have them attempt to groom me back. I miss them.

Sorry for the late reply,,
Envy: What was one time someone helped you get back up + your opinion on palm trees
Dont really remember, and my opinion on palm trees is that they made for great shade from the sun✨
Alphonse: Who’s one person you’d like to give a hug?
My mutuals 🥺💕
For the ask thing—what part of writing is most fun for you?? Thanks!!
Thank you for the ask!!
25. What part of writing is the most fun?
I have two answers for this!
I really, really love when you’re writing a first draft and something in your brain unlocks, and suddenly thousands of words are just materializing under your fingertips, easy as breathing, and it almost feels more like you’re reading a story than writing it. That state of flow is the best.
But also: on a technical level I love being a couple drafts into a project, when the story and the pacing and all that is sorted, and the only thing left to do is make the sentences pretty. I’m not...the best at it...but I enjoy it. I take a clock-maker’s pleasure in making small, intricate things both functional and (to my ear) beautiful.

Thank you for the ask @altoinkblots !
16. Any guilty pleasure tropes?
So, I think if it gives you pleasure, you shouldn’t feel guilty because someone else might look at it sideways BUT I find I am a sucker for coffee shop meet cutes (which is a film genre I despise) and I enjoy reading about guys pleasuring themselves, though I don’t think I’d want to read a mix of the two. Although that could be hilarious. I’m not writing that.
In “uneasy lies the chosen of faore,” what are some things about Zelda that didn’t make it into the actual fic??
Oh, that’s good.
She really loved her husband and marriage. She loved being a mom. She was very happy to have a more normal sort of life when it was obvious nothing was happening when it was “supposed to.” She was a really good mom, and a bit more hands on than what might be expected from someone in her position. I think she lost a third pregnancy right before her husband died.
She was really lost for a while when her husband died, and was much more into Other Link than he was really into her, so that ended pretty badly for her and she felt that was it after that ended. She isn’t impressed with Link at all when he shows up, because she can see he is a hot mess from the get go...but it’s what she has to work with, so she trusts things will be ok. Eventually. While he is off on sabbatical at the start she is panicking at Impa about what a relative disaster he seems to be.
She is quite good with a bow and liked to challenge whoever was the top archer every spring. Sometimes she won. Hunting trips with her husband were a favorite way for them to get away for a day or two.
I think she keeps a lot to herself. She allowed herself to get very close to Impa, and they are very informal when it’s just the two of them.
I originally tried to tell the story by switching between Link and Zelda’s perspective, but I couldn’t really pull it off, so you get her right at the start and it’s inside his head afterwards.
Thank you for asking about her <3
