CFDA Fashion Awards
While I wasn’t able to attend the gala in person (I’m a broke post-grad, give me a break), I had to result to my Twitter feed (RT to all the fashion/blogs that live-tweeted the event) to get the inside scoop. But thankfully, Fashionista.com posted pictures of the event that brought together models, designers and actresses (oh, and Seth Meyers). Take a peek at the fashion:
Zoe Saldana in Prabal Gurung
Sheer paneling make this LBD more fashion-forward.
Julianne Hough
A step forward from her MTV awards ensemble from the previous night, Hough looks regal in crimson KaufmannFranco, but it's a typical standby for her.
Kate Bosworth
This girl knows what’s ahead for summer: floral and cut-outs, and looks great in Altuzzarrao.
Jessica Chastain in Prabal Gurung
Not the best look for her. Looks to angelic/fairy-ish, and completely washes her out. But I do love the gold sandals.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen
The actresses (and CFDA winners!) look more mature beyond their Full House years in designs by The Row. MK trades her red mane for chocolate locks, which (sorta) match her all-black ensemble, while Ash steps out in color (at least one of the twins has an eye for a fun shade). The duo are the designers behind The Row and Elizabeth and James.
Dakota Fanning
Two things: (a) what was she doing there? And (b) Ew. Even though it’s Proenza Schouler.
Mandy Moore
The gal looks gorg in Lela Rose, but wow, I didn’t recognize her.
Sophia Bush
Proving she is her own Angelina in David Meister Signature. #BrookeDavis4Ever
Lily Collins
Love the bird motif on this shimmery gold Marchesa. Very Hunger Games.
Hilary Rhoda
Aside from the bed-head looking hair, the look is color-blocking at its best in a Rebecca Minkoff gown.
Anna Wintour
I can’t not write this post and include the grand dame of them all, wearing a Marc Jacobs frock straight from the designer’s runway show hours earlier.
Oh, I almost forgot the best part....
Seth Meyers
ENOUGH SAID.
Any guy that can wear a see-through Comme des Garcons dress better than Marc Jacobs, and steal the night gets points in my book. No wonder he's still on Weekend Update.
