I'm not an amateur, I'm a Specialist.

There's now a banner and avatar, and also it's not invite-only anymore, so feel free to join in! At the moment, I've mostly used it for sharing simple/silly things when I'm extra low spoon/brain fog and can't brain enough for even tagging.

There's also a list of community guidelines that I think are fairly straightforward, but I am NOT skilled with technical writing, definitely add a personal tough, and so please feel free to point out any confusing language and/or suggest improvements. Also sorry to go mom mode with rule #1. That's my golden rule with my kiddo, and it just seems so versatile, so, I've started using it pretty much everywhere lol

Hello there! The first volume of Full Metal Panic! Family will be released on January 19 next year, and the novel is currently being serialized in Dragon Magazine. Regarding the novels that have been published, many repos have mentioned the kinda erotic interaction between the 40s Sousuke and Kaname's couple. What do you think of this?

I think it's wonderful! I believe the "erotic" scene they're likely referring to isn't even much, it's just that it's an intimate moment between a well established married couple, it's something like Kaname is in the kitchen doing dishes and Sousuke comes up and hugs her from behind. It's intimate, maybe a little sexy, but not vulgar, and not as erotic as it's being played up to be.

Being a 35+ person married for 15+ years with a kid, I think it's lovely to see the characters I've loved for so long grow with me. When I first met them I was a little younger than them, and now again, I'm a few years younger than them once more, but at the same "stage" in my life as they are. It's so fun to see what's changed and what's stayed the same, and the simple intimacy of a long term romance is wonderful and is a welcome sight in this genre.

hi! first i just gotta say, I was shocked there was aparently 2 of you running this blog??? Are you like, married or something?? cause that would be cool ngl lol!!

Was curious tho, what r some of ur fav FMP scenes?? mine has to be the bike scene after the hospital, where Chidori and Sosuke are just so cute together!!

We're not married, but Mika does live with me (Alty) and my husband! We met through our love of FMP!, starting with conversations on ff.net gushing over each other's fics, then we met up at a mall, and the rest is history~ 🥰

My fav scenes, oh goodness, there's so many!! Fumoffu has a lot of cute ones, I like right after Sousuke rescues Kaname from the gang girl and she's asking him what kind of food he wants, and the "Strip! Strip! Strip!" scene where she swoops in wearing her mom's kimono and convinced everyone Sousuke's game was strong enough to pull a rich married woman.

Of course, the confession in IV is so touching and meaningful.

I don't really care for the wind blows home arc on the whole, but I love when Sousuke returns to find Kaname outside his apartment with the dolphin keychain.

When Sousuke comes back handcuffed to a pipe chair in the first arc. The respect for her starts then XD

When he tells her not to fire his guns, because he doesn't want her tainted by death, knows it would make it difficult for her to smile 😭

Basically any scene with Shiro and it's a CRIME they removed him in the anime and manga, that's his CAT, give the boy his fluffy partner back!!!!!

It's been a long time since I've really looked around the tags. I noticed an older post from @fullmetal-generation mentioning Arienai Jugyou and the search for the 5th, which is what alerted me to the fact that i didn't have it all here.

I've now uploaded the 5th lesson and the 3 Arienai Briefing. There's also Tessa's diary and the Invisible Victory audio dramas, would people like me to share those too? Oh, and i believe the VMC audio was removed from the official Lantis yt, I've also got those if needed.

Disclaimer: I own official releases of all the mentioned audio dramas and am happy to share them as they aren't easy to get hands on. Most are out of print. Do not distribute them please!

Hello there! I want to make sure if Kaname's hair described in the novel is black.. I think I read somewhere that it's dark blue / midnight blue (˘･_･˘)

Very first page of the very first novel confirms that she's got black hair! :D The blue in art is to be eye catching (same with Sousuke, he's black hair, brown eyed too)

Have those directors cut movies been subbed? I just finished IV last night and I wanna rewatch everything but I don't have a lot of TV time

Let’s hope but for me I’ll wait for the whole season to come to the US instead of $150 for four episodes as much as I love the series

Absolutely understandable, it really does suck that they do it that way, and the extras for v.2&3 aren’t nearly as extensive as the ones for v.1, and the price drop isn’t significant enough to make it worthwhile as a consumer (though if my math is right, the amount makes sense from a manufacturing standpoint)

…I’m still buying them, though, but that’s ‘cause I have the means to do so, and I certainly can’t fault anyone for not picking up the first runs. The cost-to-content ratio leaves a lot to be desired :/ 15 years ago I was buying sets with all those printed goodies, extra languages cause of the licensing, and a whole season’s worth of episodes, all for like $40. The first runs for anime these days (last like…7ish years?) are insanely priced orz
