idek what's a trend anymore but as a desi color and image maximalist i looooooooove when pinned posts are super stacked with so much stuff. i'm kinda getting there atp but specifically i'm thinking of @maurilyan and @melniibone. it feels like i entered a big wardrobe with a whole world inside to explore. it gives soooo much impact and opportunity to get to know the vibe of the character and i love it sooooo much.

bc i'm iconnless original character that's supposed to be unethically striking in terms of appearance ... with no face claim bc no one in real life truly matches her in my head (so much abt her is inhuman so it feels reductive to ascribe human qualities to her) ... i looove when ppl write abt adella's appearance. cuz it's a new take on stuff that's not coming from me and it's so interesting to see what people pick up and the effect she has on the character and even mun, and again because i don't like to use icons, she's an oc, etc. etc. that's purely coming from their theater of the mind experience. i love it sm !!

idk if it's ' sweet ' but my favorite favorite faaaaavorite thing is unprompted asks. ic or ooc. it actually feels like a present every single time and i get so so giddy. it happens a good amount on phillip where i get anons like this one asking about sleeping beauty or ic things. i wonder if they're all from the same person but it's happened so much over the years so who knows ! i can't tell you enough how happy it makes me when ppl just wanna have fun like that ic or get to know my brain ooc :')

I have heard every one of your stories since I was a little pearl, though I never really cared to pay attention all that closely. I suppose that is because when our wingmaids came into the nursery, brushed our hair, perfumed our beds, and told us things about you that were meant to scare us, I thought that I knew better than to listen to nonsense and lying. Because I thought that I had met you many times before then, and that only I knew the truth about what you were really like. Do you remember me? I remember you. I remember the few nights that I saw a wolf while I was dreaming, and when that same wolf, once before, swallowed up every living thing in the sea that was born on the same night that I was. Why didn't you visit me then? No one's ever told me. And you've left me alone since, though I don't understand why. You've lived so many years and seen so many things die, apart from your own brother, of course-- I've heard stories about him too, from others and from his very own mouth-- that it would be silly for me to hope that you would remember one, nothing perisi from the Caspian Sea. But I invite you to remember, and that you do your best to find me again, since there is so much that is changed about me. So much that I have to show you. They say that the crossing between your country and mine is the thinnest. Have you ever looked up and seen Caspian silt fall like snow through your sky? 𝑰𝑻 𝑰𝑺 𝑺𝑼𝑪𝑯 𝑨𝑵 𝑶𝑩𝑽𝑰𝑶𝑼𝑺 𝑺𝑻𝑨𝑻𝑬𝑴𝑬𝑵𝑻 𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑻, were she a more lively woman, Ruby might have laughed. Indeed, she was alone more often than not, lost in her books or wandering her garden. The roses were always in bloom, a deep blood red as vicious as their keeper; she had one pinned to her boutonniere, a sudden splash of color against the black of her gown. Strange that it had accompanied her into this dream, where she had found the one library even grander than her own. (Was she indignant? No, such a notion would be childish to entertain.)

But angry? It was, she supposed not an unfair assumption. Stoic though she was, there was often an undercurrent of agitation, an ember of ire glowing quietly behind her ribs -- but an ember was not anger. It was not rage, not blood lust, not hate.

(She would know. When one was slain time and time again, one grew all too familiar with such things, after all.)

But what good did it do to spend a few moments in silence mulling over the accuracy of Dream's observation? The silence stretched on for only a few seconds, yet it was long enough to be noticeable before Ruby broke it: "You seem to know a great deal about me," she said evenly. Always even, always carefully pronounced, as if even a single consonant out of place would be unacceptable. "Do you intend to do something with this knowledge? Besides telling me what I ought to already know, of course."

( unlike others in society alicent chose not to listen to gossip, based in reality or no. people tended to embelish the truth, add onto something they had no proof of. & if he was all of that ? he was a man, he could do as he liked as where ladies like herself could not. how much it feel ... she often wonders ... to completely be free ? ) head tilts to the side as eyes observe the painting in front of her but only for a moment before someone catches the eye. ❛ oh ! p-pardon me, mr bridgerton ... ❜ alicent steps away, ❛ i did not mean to pry. it is just- ... the door was open, i was curious. my mama has come to visit mrs. bridgerton so i came with her. ❜ by tone, the swiftness she speaks, alicent was nervous. ❛ who is she, the lady in silver ? ❜

his eyes flicker, waking from the perfume of a daydream that had caught him off guard momentarily; lashes caught in the pollen of early spring, where the wolf house stretches ominously a short bit of distance away. they tell him he should be wary of the place. he had overheard a new-comer complaining about it the way mortals tried to make sense of failed policy: how could they send kids out there to the wolves? but if he knew any better, they were sending the wilds back into the kids. he is seconds from drifting towards that house of stone slabs and bluegrass when a pair of warm fingers curl around his wrist, and when it slows the motion of his stride, they slip dangerously down to his hand. there's a twitch to his hand. most of the time, it's the kind that comes from a fizzling light that doesn't want to be touched, a warning.

the other kind seems a little more like recognition. of hackles beginning to raise before they droop. his head turns away from the meadow to her eyes staring back at him, her brow bent in an unnamed conflict, a focus that bordered on a listless want but neither of them would dare call it as such. he's not a prince; doesn't stop dead and drop to his knees at her touch. but his fingers catch her hand back and he yanks her close instead. ❛❛  got a problem?  ❜❜  tilting his head only slightly, his expressionless face feigns consideration. ❛❛  yeah you do.  ❜❜  his mouth twitches damningly, and his grip tightens when she tries to tug it back and away. should have left him to his daydream, now he's wide awake, and once his duplitious eyes catch a weakness, they don't let go.

daniel hall & corinthian (2.0). i haven't read the comics, but i do gather bits of information here and there to help with my post show portrayal. so of course i had to start this list with them.

melinoë & hades / corinthian. father and daughter or nightmare goddess and nightmare? both are good, i'd say.

asteria amell & kassandra / lan mandragoran / any fantasy muse.  kassandra for asteria's myth au could be pretty interesting! lan could be given a da verse with some tinkering (and some help and wikis at hand, since i sadly never played it. but they have an enemy in common if anything, which is the blight). if we want to keep it in team good guys mousesack has wriggle room too (maybe in her d&d verse, since he is a druid) and then there's durza who is an absolutely rancid necromancer who would probably try to convince her that dark magic is good for you, actually.

fergus cousland & davos seaworth.  i don't know if you would be comfortable in an asoiaf setting (and if not, i can adjust to a more general fantasy verse), but i read stormy coast and my mind went to the stormlands on its own. davos could easily be sent his way (or his father's) to look for potential allies!!

marina & edward teach / lucius spriggs.  pirates crossover could be interesting. well, edward is a pirate (even if he is tired of being one)... lucius just happens to be on a pirate ship, really! in any case they both end up nearly dying at sea, which is funny.

within moments he had returned, materialised from a golden gust like a storm-cloud of pollen. the quiet forest resumed its chorus of bird chirps and distant howls, though where once it had supported their quiet crawl through the woods, it was now replaced by an the unsettled cartographer croaking out his name.

the centurion witnessed the sharp attention land on him, milo's face twisted with relief and uncertainty stitched together.

however unsympathetic his patience could be, it was his mind that surged to put together the origin of his companion's distress. with-out an immediate answer, he strode closer and swayed his eyes over their closest surroundings; the wood of the trees were unmarked, no evident sign of cursed runes or the rot of approaching lemures. milo himself seemed absent of serious injury, virtually untouched save for the twigs and leaves caught in his hair. but sight itself could be deceiving, that much went without saying, especially in the territories marked by their watchful gods.

with his brows furrowed, he hid his hands back inside his blood-red cloak. ❛   scouting ahead, i don't have the patience to walk into traps today.   ❜ then he tilted his head, face expectant. save spinifer, his chosen mare, there was a notable absence of other legionnaires or a protective brigade accompanying them. it only emphasised the quiet and rather classified nature of their search. ❛   what happened? did you see something?   ❜
