Full Marks For Quickslide On Recent Audit

Being the first business to receive a perfect score of 100% on a recent audit, West Yorkshire-based window and door manufacturer Quickslide is understandably very happy.

The company, which manufactures and supplies high quality PVC-U and aluminium windows and doors, were audited by CENSolutions Ltd last month specifically for the systems process within its aluminium bi-fold door department.

MD Michael Connor explained: “We’re over the moon to have received 100% on the audit and be awarded CMS Quality Mark EN 14351, plus, being the first company to achieve this is something we are extremely proud of. This is a bi-annual audit so standards are always maintained, and this result further shows our commitment to producing a first class product. The audit looked at areas such as; Process Control, Contract Review, Training, Internal Quality Audits… basically it covered the entire process within our aluminium department.”

Paul Scrivener from CENSolutions carried out Quickslide’s Bronze BS EN14351 audit: “The audit was as perfect as you could possibly get; I found no issues whatsoever with the fabrication of the bi-fold doors, and quality control in the factory was 100%, with every check possible being carried out.

“As far as the mandatory clauses of BS EN14351 are concerned, Quickslide’s Quality Manager Alex Cotos has ensured that all the supplier technical information is available and filed correctly and all frames were being labelled up with the correct Bronze CMS label. Quickslide manufactures a very high quality product and everything can be backed up with all the relevant technical information.”
