“Where are my socks?” Luke’s eyes widened, hearing his younger brother walk into the room. He shut his eyes with a sigh, turning towards you.
“In your room,” Luke said, “Aren’t you supposed to be on a date with Ava?”
“Yeah,” You shrugged, giving a small nod to the array of unknown guests in you and your brother’s apartment (well, technically it was Luke’s), before heading straight to the fridge. You grabbed a few grapes, shoving them into your mouth, “But ya’know, she dumped me,”
“Wonder why,” Luke commented jokingly, chuckling at you talking with a mouthful of grapes.
“Dunno, I’m a real charmer,” You laughed, coughing slightly when you nearly choked on a grape. “What’s not to love?”
“Would you like the list alphabetically or rated most to least annoying characteristics?”
“Dick,” You mumbled, walking past Luke and sitting on the couch.
“Sorry, maybe I’m being slow, but who’s this?” Garcia asked, furrowing her eyebrows.
“My brother,” Luke answered.
You rolled your eyes seeing the confused looks on the team’s face and your brother’s lack of explanation. “I’m adopted, thank God, who’d want to be related to this guy?”
“Ass,”
“Swivel on this, dick,” You grinned, sticking your finger up at Luke.
“I will put you back on those church steps, kid, mark my words,” Everyone’s eyes widened in surprise at their team member, all turning to you (expecting him to be upset), who threw your head back and laughed loudly.
“Mama would kill you and you know it,” You snickered.
“She so would,” Luke grumbled, “You eaten yet?”
“Not yet,” You shrugged, “You got a case?”
“Nope,” Luke said before turning to Rossi slowly, “Rossi…. How do you feel about a cooking lesson?”
“Please do, Luke can’t cook for shit”
“I can too!”
“Please, you look at the oven and it catches on fire,” You laughed, “And then we end up getting take out, which is great and all, but I fancy a decent home-cooked meal,”
“You’re so mean to me,” Luke said, placing a hand over his heart, “I’m going to tell Mama when we see her next,”
You folded your arms with a smirk, “Go on then, and I’ll tell her that you threatened to put me back on the church steps Mama found me on,” Luke’s jaw dropped, Garcia muffled a laugh.
“I like him,”
“She likes me,” You said with a smirk, “Because I’m the better brother,”
“That is not true!” Luke argued.
“Children, children, calm down,” Rossi said, motioning them to stop arguing. “I will make dinner, but only because I’ve found out that you two mostly eat take out and I am personally offended by that,”
