I love how Super Junior....

I love how LEETEUK (1st July 1983) always takes it upon himself to carry the group’s responsibilities. No matter the problem, big or small, he shoulders them bravely, stepping up to the plate as the leader. His leadership has weathered past storms and he has never failed to shield his family from the harsh eyes of others, preferring instead to bear the weight of criticisms alone. One can also see how he steps behind in order to elevate his dongsaengs, allowing them to shine instead. His strength in leading a family of 15 has kept them together for 10 years, and many more to come.

I love how HEECHUL (10th July 1983) never minces his words and is always there to defend his family. He is akin to a mischievous older brother who, despite teasing his younger siblings, will be the first to rush to their aid should they require it. He is unafraid of sounding harsh to outsiders or stepping on a couple of toes, and will continue to fiercely preserve the family in the face of falsehoods and rumors even if it meant that he might appear as the ‘bad guy’ to the world. His ability in ‘telling it like it is’ fearlessly is what I admire the most.

I love how HANKYUNG (9th February 1984) was the leader in the shadows. Being with the main group, he was quietly shining with his dancing abilities and was always faithfully devoted to the activities and his leader. But it was with Super Junior M, that his brilliance became more pronounced as he took on the task of being a leader in a group who spoke almost no mandarin (Asides from Zhou Mi & Henry). The task of translating and ensuring the members were all on the same wavelength must have been an arduous one and he managed to guide them with what seemed to be effortless leadership was truly a remarkable feat.

I love how YESUNG (24th August 1984) is a strong, silent pillar to his dongsaengs and is always on the lookout for each and every one of them. His preference for standing by them quietly and allowing them to be playful with him really brings forth his patient persona and it’s his way of showing his love for his family. The cool and collected self he presents is the sturdy backbone amongst them. Even though he is not known to be quiet off screen, it is obvious that his calming influence and rational personality is much needed in the family.

I love how KANGIN (17th January 1985) remains the group’s ‘fatherly’ figure and is a genuinely active member the family can’t do without. Until this very day, his main concern would always be his past behavior and how it brought trouble for his family and fans. His apologetic nature is really commendable and I feel so badly for him as he kept on apologizing for his past. It takes a truly righteous man to own up to his mistakes and I for one applaud him for having done so.

I love how SHINDONG (28th September 1985) is unafraid of being goofy and is always bubbly, going all out to be one of the ‘wackier’ ones in the family. You can always count on him to bring amusement and hilarity in any tense situations. But in spite of his joking demeanor, he has also continued to improve himself time and again and it is obvious that his skills are an indomitable asset to the family, both on and off screen, providing them with the vigor that is Super Junior.

I love how SUNGMIN (1st January 1986) doesn’t mind being the cutesy one of the family and will always serenely entertain all his hyungs’ antics anytime, all the time. However, I do marvel at his physical strength and his quiet contentment to simply take a backseat and enjoy the warmth of his family. To me, he represents the cuddly, fluffy bunny of the family, ever present for a hug but he’s also the caring hyung and the loyal dongsaeng who will definitely fight for his family should they be threatened.

I love how EUNHYUK (4th April 1986) places so much importance on family and loved ones, made evident by the countless times he was tricked (or not) in various situations that made him upset or cry. He will doubtlessly try to make things right, to keep the peace, and most of all, keep his family whole no matter what. His street-smarts and practicality glows the brightest and he is most certainly a member that one can rely and depend on during the good times and the bad.

I love how SIWON (7th April 1986 / 10th February 1987, Registered) is lovingly generous to a fault. Not only towards his family but to everyone around him. A bona fide chivalrous gentleman, he is more than just a strong visual in the family. He gamely joins in all the fun and hijinks together with his brothers, playing one of the more active roles. Whenever he is apart from them fulfilling his solo projects, it was obvious that he wanted nothing else but to be back together with his family even though he was happy enough overseas. It is indisputable that he is always the happiest with his boys.

I love how ZHOU MI (19th April 1986) is honestly the kindest, most easygoing member of the family. He will simply entertain all forms of shenanigans from his brothers (both the hyungs and dongsaengs) with a warm smile on his face. He doesn’t seem to have any temper whatsoever and always dotes on and supports his family by promoting them, mentioning them and placing them before himself. He is a genuinely selfless person, gratified with simply shining the spotlight on his family, with a sparkling personality to boot.

I love how DONGHAE (15th October 1986) behaves like the child of the family with his clear naivete and affectionate nature. He makes it clear that family is always first and is always sensitive to all his brothers’ needs / feelings / emotions. One of his most admirable qualities is how quietly hardworking and dedicated he is to all aspects of his activities. While he will indulge in everyone’s clowning around, there is a slightly more reserved aura when he does so; a testament of his more muted nature, content to be simply there with his band of brothers.

I love how RYEOWOOK (21st June 1987) cares and worries for his family, being mindful of all their well beings and essentially being the parent of the family. He will ensure that they have home cooked meals to eat, the fridge well stocked with peeled fruits and mothering his brothers despite being one of the youngest in the family. His gentle, sweet persona gleams through the most when he is with his hyungs as he's the most affectionate with them. Despite that, he also has a fiery and playful side to which his brothers will certainly indulge in, making his presence a veritable one in the harmony of the group.

I love how KIBUM (21st August 1987) made the Super Junior family seem like any ordinary family. He valiantly took on all the difficulties he might have felt as the younger one in the group and he much rather be the reserved one, standing on the sidelines being the silent observer. The one who will be there all the while participating faithfully and quietly provided the group with a sense of normalcy and balance, instead of the usual pandemonium and exuberance that they have come to be known for. The memories that he had with Super Junior will always be etched deeply as part of their family history.

I love how KYUHYUN (3rd February 1988) has become the willful and sassy voice of the family, a very different side from when he first started off with the team. Before, a muted and subdued Kyuhyun, he has turned into his own person, being the cheeky and impudent one with his hyungs and entirely comfortable in the circle of his family. While he is certainly able to hold his own during independent activities, one is able to see that he is most relaxed and more gutsy surrounded by his boys.

I love how HENRY (11th October 1989) is the playful and bright spark of the entire family. Already highly accomplished with his solo work, his impish attributes are markedly discernible among his hyungs as they invariably entertain his spirited antics. Even as he gets ‘picked on’ by his brothers, it was always done with love and humor. His excitable delight at being onstage with them is apparent and his existence in the family brings a refreshing vitality to the youthfulness of the group.

These are merely my opinions on what aspects of their personalities stands out the most. I have included all 15 of them and if you happen to disagree with my opinions, well, let’s just agree to disagree. What I’ve listed is by no means accurate or true but simply from what I’ve observed over the years. I will NEVER buy a backpack from Super Junior which has an "only 13" on it. Never.

I do not understand why they had to add that kind of message to the backpack, they could have just written "Super Junior" and many more people would buy it... but I will never support something that goes against two of the most charming, kind, hard-working and brave artists in the world. When I think of them crying and having a hard time because of those "fans" who don't accept them...

An Everlasting Friend should be someone who should give the new members a friendly and warm welcome, since that is the kind of message that the name of this fanclub is supposed to spread.

They have already endured a lot because of the people who don't accept that all the people have the right to fulfill their dreams. They are very talented and they don't deserve the boycott they've been suffering all this time. They are essential members for Super Junior, like everyone else. We are already losing too many members to even think of despising the new ones.
