Since today is the day Dean met Cas in that barn,(right?right!) how do you think that whole scene would go on SuperBritish? I'm not a Brit, but I love British tv & I found myself daydreaming about this:)) Just Dean saying 'Oi!' or 'thanks, mate' after Cas tells him he saved him, &we could have a moment like we had w/ the Ninth Doctor & Rose where Cas starts talking in the thickest northern/Scottish accent & Dean goes 'you're an angel & u talk like that?' Cas: 'Lots of vessels are from the North'
I can’t help myself (Sorry!Feel free to ignore this), so I’m also gonna ask what would your ideal casting be 4 SuperBritish? Bc I’m happy w/ what my brain provided for Dean & Sam, but for the life of me I can’t find a good Cas & it’s gonna keep me up at night:< For eg, I think Charlie Cox would make a good Sam(his long haired cute dimply self in Stardust is the perf younger!Sam & Daredevil shows he can be a total beefcake,too) & Tom Hardy’d b an excellent Jensen replacement both talent&look-wise

ACTUALLY to go off on a tangent from Eccleston, Richard Armitage as Cas. Just a thought.
Those guys are both actors I’d file under first thought for who can play Alarmingly Intense which would be the first job requirement. Although Eccleston would probably do the drift to goofy Cas moments more naturally. I dunno I may be biased, I’ve never seen Armitage be as goofy.

Although tangentially that leads me to think that Olivia Colman should probably play Bobby.
(Which takes us back to 4x01 and the fact that we’d get like 500% more coverage of Bobbie’s face as she does that magnificent “WTF” face. :D)
