So it looks like I have the Post+ option here, so this is just a post to let you all know that I will not be using it.
I’m not going to criticize anyone who does; we’ve all got to make money. I’ve been making money before this tumblr which is enough to live on, and I will hopefully continue not to face the horrors of unemployment or an emergency that leaves me absolutely stripped for cash.
Regardless, that has never been the point of this tumblr. What follow I’ve built has been built on my attempts to apply a balm to my own fear, and to help others who are going through it, with things that have helped me, or things that have helped others. It’s been a constant trial-and-error, with some laughs and some poetry in-between.
It’s as much for me as it is for anyone else.
And I remember, clearly, when I was in the ER – I was thinking about money. I took a loan out to pay for it, and I’m still paying back that loan, but that’s expected. Minimum payment on a 5 year loan. So there’s no way, I’m going to be charging anyone for this, when I know the fear that comes with money, and making sure you have enough.
I’m not a professional.
This is all just free advice. Some of it came from a professional, I did see a therapist for a bit, so, there is that.
So have no fears – you won’t be missing out on anything with this tumblr. Same schedule will continue, no additional one, no hiding the morning post, or my “of dubious quality” memes! I hope to go on and continue helping you all, without making you worry about money. Ya’ll don’t need that on top of thanatophobia.
