okay since ure going to rome i absolutely have to tell u about the ice cream parlour that's on the right hand side street as u look at the trevi fountain bc it is the best ice cream i have ever had in my entire life, if u go to it make sure to order the three scoop deal bc it's only 50cents more and we made the mistake of just going for two scoops and then realizing on our last day that the three scoop existed haha, plus they have an amazing selection of flavours!! i hope u have fun!!

Haha thank you!!! I bet I’ll get at least ONE ice cream there! I’m going with a group so idk what we’ll be doing exactly or if we’ll be at the trevi fountain but if so i’ll totally check out this shop!!! thanks again that’s so sweet (pun intended haha)

i never listen to this anyway bc they always keep adding to it even when u think there's no more and they also miss things too, it's never completely accurate, not saying there will be a bellarke kiss or anything just don't let it completely dampen ur hopes

I legit thought the chances of it happening were minimal but i loved this list and how it could be us (cause heck there is ALWWAYS HOPE. EVEN RIGHT NOW). And it doesn’t mean nothing will happen. The list is specific, kiss-sex or ILY and nothing else. There’s a whole world that can happen

Either way,i’m keeping my expectations down (as I was before anyway) but heck my hopes are always okay, trust me :)

it’s also bc clarke is the audience insert for her relationships, like how many times in romance does the guy fall first and u always see people frustrated with the girl bc she doesn’t realize as quickly or her feelings aren’t spelled out in sweeping internal monologues etc, people are so quick to pour tons of meta out on how bellamy loves clarke but i hardly see any on clarke loving bellamy and it’s a pattern in f/m ships from literally all my fandoms

YES YES YES. So much.

I’ve been a defender of the “Clarke is in love with Bellamy too since....forever” for FREAKING YEARS NOW and people just don’t.... they don’t believe it.

People are always asking when it will happen and, truth is, they won’t get to see it cause they don’t wanna read Clarke as she is. If anyone thinks back to her relationships... you’ll see what I’m (we’re) talking about. Clarke is way less louder about her feelings. Even with Finn, which had the “first love” vibe, she froze him out for so long. He flirted with her, she smiled back.... it was basically on 1x04 that we got to see her act full on her feelings for him. And after that, she still had feelings for him and she still was way less loud about it than he was - and he was on a relationship. And again, this was when Clarke was way more open, this is pre “love is weakness”.

But truth is, there has been signs all the freaking long that Clarke has feelings for Bellamy. And that she’s trying to shut it down (2x09 is the biggest one of all, 2x16 too.). And people are openly ignoring those. 

IDK if it’s because it’s a m/f relationship (because all stories do tend to make the guy fall first, but i had experience in fandoms where the other way around happened ) or if it’s because of how it’s much easier to connect Bellamy’s actions with his emotions.

Clarke was the one who started almost everything between Clarke and Bellamy (”I need you”, “[i forgive you]”,“I trust you”, “I can’t lose you”, “i’m sorry”, ALL of the hugs. ALL Clarke). Clarke is action. 

And she is usually the one who pushes their relationship forward, not Bellamy.

And i feel like this is why we are stuck right now on season 4. Because Clarke could say and do all those things before, because it was easier to shut her feelings out. Or maybe her love for him wasn’t so clearly romantic for her before so she could do and say things without struggling with them. Or because she was indeed, very true to her character, acting and saying things before letting herself what she was feeling and why.

But she’s stuck this season.  Feels like she’s tied, whenever she’s gonna interact with Bellamy something is off - not because she doesn’t have the feelings- but because she doesn’t end the things she started. It’s the list she makes and doesn’t talk to Bellamy about it, it’s her saying he’s special and looking away (Clarke NEVER LOOKS AWAY, Bellamy is the one who does- and btw she’s doing it a lot this season), it’s the grand gestures she makes and that never get freaking closure. And we aren’t getting conversations about it, cause the one person who starts them all isn’t starting them.

It has come to point where, in this season, it’s Bellamy saying “if i’m on that list, you’re on that list” and “you got it backwards”. It’s Bellamy who puts his hand on her shoulder, and yeah that’s it. Because that’s how Bellamy works, he’s lowkey in “action” when it comes to her feelings.

 If you think back to all the “physical” interactions Bellarke ever had, when Bellamy was the one who started it, it was a hand hold (1x07, 3x05),a “taking her hair from her face” (3x02), a “giving you the chip in your mouth” (3x16) ). That’s what Bellamy do, everything else was started by Clarke. And we aren’t getting more physical interaction because Clarke isn’t starting that either .

It makes so much sense im screaming

And, thing is, while everyone reads this as Bellarke going backwards, they might have been reading it completely wrong? Cause every single thing we got this season has proven over and over that Clarke chooses Bellamy, she thinks of him, she hurts when he hurts, she goes where he goes, she makes plans so that she can save him over and over and over. Every single things we got this season makes me think that Clarke’s feelings for Bellamy are louder than they’ve ever been, and the way she’s acting about it (sneaking glances all the freaking time, averting eyes, crying when confronted about her feelings) makes me think that she is finally realizing what is happening with her. And she’s scared as heck (+ a million other complicated feelings like worry about the apocalypse and mourning L). 

And she’s recoiling.

And we are all feeling it
