Coffee Shop AU: Peter Hale, one of the most successful fantasy authors in the country, loved his profession. It brought fame, wealth, and awards—all of which, he thrived on. The only issue was that writing novels required a certain level of peace and focus that was near impossible to achieve while living in a mansion full of rowdy werewolf pups. He stumbled across the secluded Silver Lining Café by accident, and it turned out to have everything he wanted: fantastic coffee, a quiet atmosphere, and an owner that made Peter’s mouth water and his wolf ready to stake claim.

the human doppelganger : once a mere pawn in a grand scheme , an innocent flower since welted and blossoming into one with thorns.  compassion still had been a defining trait which caused her to push past the crowds to see if anyone needed help. there was panic ringing throughout the area and as usual , it felt as though it were out of her hands. a soft sigh escaped from her lips after hands grabbed onto a streetlight pole in an attempt to steady feet tripping over each other.  “ I think my friends are here. ” muttering , loud enough for anyone within a hearing distance. “ I need to find them. ”

If someone had told Peter ten years ago that he would be domestic with someone, he wouldn’t have believed them. If they’d specified that Christopher Argent would be that someone, then he would’ve suggested they check themselves into Eichen House. 

But alas, there he was, with a wedding band around his finger, a bed that smelled of long nights with his mate, and a happiness in his heart that he’d never thought he’d feel again. He woke up each morning to coffee made exactly how he loved it, and laughed as he bustled around the kitchen cooking breakfast for the two of them. He never would’ve expected finding peace in Christopher, but Gods, was he grateful.
