@alxxkto
By all accounts, Tez had been a good and kind boss. When Alekto had disappeared, Tez had left a channel open for them to message back. When Alekto had reappeared at Kanaloa's party in a wet rage, Tez had sent them a short request to calm down, and for all her trouble had been told to fuck off. And now that Alekto was back in New Orleans, Tez was willing to waive their three days away as just another bender, and merely deduct their wages for the time.
But she did expect answers.
Tez pinged the message to Alekto's coms at dusk, just when she was settling into her home office. [It's time to talk.]
Lucky for her, Alekto took the bait to come in. Tezcatlipoca smiled at the warning from her home security system and buzzed in her fury. She leant back on her recliner, the screens that made up the wall of her office turning off one by one until Tez was surrounded by walls of black glass. Tez pulled out some whiskey, Alekto's favourite drink, and poured them both two glasses. She also had a trigger set up for an EMR blast in case Alekto got any ideas about unfurling their mantis blades on Tez. It would be a pain to hobble around without a foot, but better than hobbling around without a head.
The door opened to Alekto, and Tez raised her glass towards them.
"So..." she began, leaving it open for Alekto to take the floor.
