Knitting friends, I need your help! I've completed the body of my #alyeskasweater (cropped, as usual!) and I'm onto the sleeves. My issue is this; I'm new to colorwork, and using double-pointed needles seems beyond overwhelming. 😨 Should I learn magic loop? Is there any way to knit both sleeves at the same time on a top-down sweater? I feel like I'm busting through long-held mental plateaus with this project ... and oh my, it's not even done and I am completely enamored, imperfections and all. (Worn with my #landerpants by @truebias in Brick Brown Ventana twill.)

Making progress on my #alyeskasweater! Colorwork is so addictive. I've love catching up on podcasts after the kids go to bed, with needles in hand. My slice of heaven.

Picking colors gives me the most glorious artistic high! I may find myself addicted to colorwork. 😉 #alyeskasweater plans - the robin's egg blue will be the accent color in the swirly yoke. All colors except the rust are @hedgehogfibres, rust is @olann.ie. 🖤💙💜

My first fair isle project is finished! I may have over blocked it ... it was also my first time blocking over a balloon (🎈= 👽) ... but I love floppy hats, so there! 🙄 This #cardamomcoffeehat by @boylandknitworks was a delight to knit. I used bits of leftovers from my stash, and enjoyed going slowly, breathing deeply, and releasing any stress so it didn't manifest as tight floats. I am already planning my next colorwork project - perhaps too ambitiously - the #alyeskasweater!
