So I’ve realized that I am really good a sharing progress photos of my knitting, but terrible about showing off the finished project and talking about the process. Ideally I would like to write a blog post with everything I finish, but I am little self conscious of my writing skills so I rarely hit publish on my posts. I am good at social media though, so I am going to just start by talking about it here and forgive myself for taking some time to get to it. * Today I’d like to show off mine and @kristinsflynnphotography’s Cardamom Coffee hats! Mine is on the left and her’s is on the right. I knit the size Large using Everyday Lite and she did a size medium (I think) and used Everyday Fingering. I followed the pattern to the letter, she did a regular rib instead of the twisted rib for the brim. I am a loose knitter and she is a tight knitter. I used an alpaca pom from @nodrogfarms and she made her own pom pom. Both hats are amazing! * I HIGHLY recommend this pattern if you are interested in trying colorwork! It requires very little yarn so you can definitely stash dive. And while there are three colors in the pattern, you are only ever using two colors at a time. Also, there are not decreases or increases in the colorwork. The pattern is by @boylandknitworks and I will link it up in my stories!
