setting: all fours
Shavings on the ground, a row of cheap whiskey on the top shelf, wolves wrestling in the corner. To an outsider maybe the place would seem dodgy, and maybe it was, but the sound of the playful nipping and the sharp sting of the alcohol in the air felt more like his home in the North with Ander than he’d admit. Alyin Despina Lycaon, that was a big name, he wondered if she knew that she had a relative in town, but that wasn’t why he was here. Her family could trace its roots back to the same man as Anders, his pack hadn’t had the answer he was looking for, so he came to All Fours instead. Located in a run down quarter of the city that was practically infested with Tiber wolves, it didn’t take much to deduce that the situation here was intentional.
“Nice place you got here.” Emre remarked sardonically, saddling up to the bar opposite the alpha. He didn’t drink much these days, alcohol just made his shifts harder to control and the last thing anyone in this city needed was a rage monster bursting out of its skin and rampaging about. “I missed you in the games, thought an alpha of all people would’ve been competing.” Well, one of them won anyways.
