Please tell me why I got emotional thinking about Alyn Shir and my Fateless One while I was playing a dumb cooking game on my phone.

I know everyone says the Fateless is better after, but maybe they used to get down in the before when they were still a bastard. And maybe she misses that. And maybe she’s weirded out by that same voice being so diplomatic and kind, to see those hands fix a child’s toy or pet a cat. This isn’t her Fateless, and they’re a better person... but part of her misses them.

But they’re gone now. And it’s not going to be the same
