YIKES this one is so hard to decide??? BUT if i had to pick only ONE....i’m gonna go w/ the smell of freshly baked cake. or just the smell inside a bakery. it’s all warm and sweet and kind of flour-y probably bUT LISTEN: ITS NICE.

(unless this was asking about perfumes thennnn. i like the ed hardy, hearts & daggers one the best)

do u have any headcanons for silena, piper and/or drew's patronus? :o

GLAD YOU ASKED BECAUSE I SURE AS SHIT DO.

silena first bc she’s the oldest my babe. she’s the maternal sort which, kind of sounds weird bUT HEAR ME OUT: being the oldest of three sisters, and the most responsible/emotionally supportive one does put her in very motherly shoes. but she’s ambitious as hell, and we KNOW she’d go to extreme lengths for the people she cares about (so in this au, her sisters, charlie, clarisse– etc). FOR THIS REASON… i think her patronus would be a doe. i googled symbolism w/ this animal to double check and: “By inspiration from the deer’s qualities, you can achieve ambitious goals and tackle difficult situations smoothly with a touch of gentleness and grace.” she’s protective as FUCK and ready to go into battle mode for the ones important to her, which also ties in with: “The deer horns are great means of defending and asserting yourself. Being gentle does not mean being defenseless. With the deer as a power animal on your side, you can be strongly determined and gentle at the same time.” (x)

drew was a lil trickier to work out??? she’s such a complex character, and while she wasn’t the best developed in the books, i refuse to believe that a daughter of LOVE would permanently stay the conceited antagonist. NOW. personally, i’ve always seen drew as a little awkward with her affections. aka, she’s spent so long building this persona of hers, that it’s just habit to not give in to overly touchy-feely things with those she really, truly cares about. aka, her sisters, who mean the world to her–even if she argues and snaps at them and acts like she’d rather be anywhere else on the planet than dealing with them (coughs at piper’s cONSTANT PRANKS AND SILENA’S NEAT FREAK TENDENCIES). she’s knowledgable, fully happy to use her gifts/abilities to their best and exploit whatever situation can give her the best outcome. and for that reason, i think her patronus would be a cat (something long haired and elegant looking; maine coon perhaps?). also: “The cat is emblematic of a lifestyle that combines times of fierce independence and moments that are more social and cuddly. Being inspired by the cat’s spirit, you may foster the balance between your personal need for freedom and time alone with the company of others and social activities.” (x)

now pIPER. ohohoho. easy peasy: her patronus would be a fox. foxes are heavily linked to mischief and “blending in” (which we know piper has an affinity for–aka in TLH where she’s a lil’ trouble maker who hates to stand out in a crowd), but they’re also closely linked to quick thinking–cunning–and being wise about choices/rising to challenges. again, a very piper-esque thing (nods @ all the times her fast thinking and charm have gotten The Squad out of trouble!). AND on top of that: she’s a good mentor figure, which links in w/ the fox as a symbol of ~wisdom/prudence~. if that doesn’t sell you on it, how’s this: “The fox is known for sneaking into homes and getting away without being caught. Because of it’s characterized by its cunning ability, this animal has acquired the image of trickster in a number of cultures. When the fox appears in your life, it may indicate that you need to pay attention to people or circumstances that may be deceiving or tricking you into going down a path that does not necessarily serves you. This spirit animal may call you to be more discerning in relationships, whether it’s in business or friendships, or in choices you make for yourself.” and also “Having the fox as spirit animal, you may be guided to learn from lessons in a way that may feel like you are being challenged or sometimes even being tricked. To make the most of the fox totem wisdom, keep a strong sense of humor and be smart of the lessons you learn.” (x)
