The Kings were a well-known couple in the super hero community. They’d shown promise in school but quickly fell down the wrong path - committing crimes, making obstacles disappear for big companies in exchange for money. It wasn’t long after that until they began to get more power-hungry. With their ability to control the weather, they didn’t have to listen to anyone. They could make their own rules, and so they did, with no regard to others. The two of them made a fortune by getting corporations to pay them not to destroy their business. The two of them seemingly didn’t have a care in the world, so it was a surprise to the world when they had a daughter. Their greatest plan was to expand their family so they could become more powerful and a truly unstoppable force. However, it quickly became clear that a baby was a liability on the job so Tyrone and Katherine hung up their capes and decided to blend in to society for a while.
Alysha’s formative years were quite normal, all things considered. The Kings loved their daughter, but were not quite fit to be parents. For the first two years of life, Alysha consumed all their free time, they were obsessed. But it wasn’t before long that their itching to create chaos could no longer be ignored. Aly would be left on her own for hours, and as she became older, those hours turned in to days. The girl would get in to things around the house to try to entertain herself and get her parents to stay home, but they were addicted to the adventure. But Alysha seemed to get by well enough on her own. Eventually, the little girl stopped even breaking things around the house because that would just make it so they were angry at her the little time they spent at home. During the day, Alysha would either play with the fancy new toys her parents always showered her in, draw, or read. And that was their normal until one-day Alysha’s parents came home and hurriedly packed all their things up and just kept saying that they ‘had been compromised’ when she would ask what was going on. She was told to grab her favorite clothes and toys- nothing else before she was loaded into a car. The long car ride ended in the six-year-old being dropped at a foster home. The Kings explained that this was for her own safety and to never go looking for them.
Although she’d been dropped off by her parents, Alysha enjoyed the first year in foster care because she had other kids to talk to and some of the adults seemed interested in talking with her. And she never came across any problems in her foster homes as she was well behaved and well mannered. So, when she was eight years old, she was adopted by David Anderson and Edward Castro. They provided her with a very loving and supporting home, taking her to many parts of the world she never thought she’d see and showering her in attention and affection. Life was perfect until her powers began to manifest. Although her fathers were very supportive, it wasn’t like they could teach her how to control them. So, they did some digging and sent her off to a special high school; Sky High. A place where heroes learned to use their powers. And she couldn’t be more excited. That is, until she arrived.
Since Alysha had kept her biological parents’ surname and she held the same ability, everyone knew better than she. Most of the school seemed to avoid her, but would shoot icy glares her way. But there was another group of students that went out of their way to make her years in high school miserable. They would steal her notebooks, dump out her food, and make sure no one got close to her. Aly had no idea why she was treated in such a way until the end of her freshman year when she asked her tormentors ‘why?’. They all just scoffed and made some off handed comment about her parents. It was a subject she’d always avoided. She was better off not learning more about the people who abandoned her, until this point. And what she found was horrifying. All those times when her parents left her home alone, they had caused harm to those who lived around her. It was no wonder that all her peers looked at her in such a way. She was the child of two notorious villains. Even though she tried to apologize to others about the acts of her parents, that didn’t help. Instead, she was still their scapegoat. So, Alysha never finished her sophomore year at Sky High. She dropped out and begged her fathers to let her go to a normal school, where no one knew about her history.
From that day on, Alysha led a normal life, ignoring the power she held. And given her even-tempered nature, she could do so, for a while. She had gotten into an argument with her girlfriend at the time about how she expresses herself- or rather doesn’t express herself. And once Aly finally did release all her pent-up emotion, for once, sparks flew. Literally. No one was hurt, but it was clear that if Aly didn’t want to live as a captive to her power, she’d have to learn to use it. So, it was then she learned about Skybourne University. This time she’d take her powers more seriously and not allow naysayers to stop her. Perhaps she could even use her powers for good.

Angela Kennedy: At first, Aly just thought the glances from the woman were because there was paint on her face, but it didn’t take long for her to connect the dots and figure out the woman knew her parents. After doing some digging, she found out that her parents were involved in the death of Angela’s sister. Since making that discovery, she has avoided talking to the woman and taking her required course.
Bethany Fletcher: The two have seen each other fairly often at Hurricane, a local LGBT+ club, and it’s nice to have someone to talk to that doesn’t judge her based on her parents. Aly has developed a strong infatuation but she isn’t sure if it is because of the girl herself or because of her loneliness.

Alysha King
I'd like to see Alysha zap a bitch.
Word has it she zapped one of her girlfriends...I don’t think they’re dating anymore because of that. Let’s see what happens this time. I doubt it would take too much to rile that repressed girl up.
I wish that Shiloh was less shy. She seems like she could be a lot of fun
Oh I hear you, honey. Shiloh has so much potential to cause so much chaos and kill the party scene. But instead, she just drinks tea with the other villain child. Disappointing. Come on, dears, do something exciting for once.
