Vacation: I guess I spent Christmas in japan when I studied abroad??  it was p suckish because i actually had class christmas day?  but my host mom got me a mini tree and the softest of all sweaters so it was also p not suckish

Snowman: Neither.  I cry.  around here the first snow is usually also the first slush so I wait for it to stick and I go mess around for a few hours and then I go back inside and for the rest of the year swear vehemently under my breath whenever that cursed snowflake appears in my weather app

weekdays I usually think to myself: I'm late for class!! and jump right out of bed

on weekends when i'm lying in my comforter cocoon I think: the world's gonna keep on moving, with or without me.  People are going about their day; working, volunteering, living.  If i'm going to contribute, it's not going to be from my dark room in a sleepy haze

Bug:What has changed about you in the past 5 years? What has not?

Everything and nothing at all!  I learned japanese while living in my favorite country on earth and cemented it in my brain!  I made great friends and I'm in college and i'm doing pretty well!  my art has improved slowly but surely and i've finally made some effort to become athletic.

however, i'm still essentially the same person i always was.  i still think the same thoughts, but i'm more aware of which ones are harmful.  i still suffer pretty detrimental anxiety but i know how to power through and i know how to care for myself through it all.

i think one thing i learned tho is i really like helping people?? i've made a habit of messaging the people i follow (usually on anon--anxiety unu) when they seem down.  And while that's always been a trait of mine i?? think i might've gotten pretty good at helping and tailoring my words for each specific person

tumblr lol.  I’m a pretty open book nowadays though, really.  I guess american football?  Like most people agree but I’m like… SUPER into it so I avoid it aha

I come from a really small town so p much everything is an urban legend/has its own story, most of these probably with their own bits of truth.  I can’t think of any right now that aren’t just the defamation of creepy or disabled people but I’ll think on it!!

Oh man…  I’ve honestly never had a problem with that.  Like I’ve always been really good about knowing right from wrong, and avoiding the wrong side of the spectrum.  But now that I’m older and i know that nothing is black and white i’m getting better at toeing that line uvu.  TLDR: it’s p much always just been me in my own head, even though I’ve had some very influential (good and bad) people in my life
