She sometimes questions if she’d recognize herself if she could travel to Hungary; if being the product of immigrants’ memories and beliefs and then stories with no belief behind them has somehow fundamentally altered her from her old world self.  And if she’s been so fundamentally altered, is she still the Fair Lady?

♡ : Is there a certain scent that brings about nostalgia? If so, describe a memory this scent brings back.

The smell of trampled wild grass and rain, with a whiff of ozone in the air.  It doesn’t bring back any particular memory so much as a host of them; days and evenings and nights spent dancing in a field while thunder cracked overhead and lightning lit the sky.  

It makes her nostalgic because, while she still dances during thunderstorms, she has to do it in a park, and even the rain can’t hide the smells of the city around her.
