Home at last after a long lovely evening at AFI Lifetime award for George Clooney. 6 - 11 pm. Settling in with John and a cup of Earl Grey. Highlights were heartfelt tributes from Amal Alamuddin Clooney & his dad Nick Clooney & @rmorrison getting a special AFI award for cinematography!! I had less than a half hour to get ready so I'm going to credit my stylist. Hair: me. Dress: Donna Karan off the rack. Necklace: Erickson Beamon from 20+ years ago one of the first pieces of jewelry I bought for myself. 👠 : my tango shoes because they are the most comfortable high heels on the planet. It's a treat to dress up every once in a while. LA is a mostly casual kind of place. Had so much fun with @marya.mazor & gal pals. And I love that Kodak Dolby Caterers provided coffee and tea throughout the evening.
