Messy Bun, Crybaby and Coffee 😊
messy bun: the world is listening. pick one sentence you would tell them.
“Waitress deserved to win a Tony”
cry baby: list the concerts you have been to and talk about how they make you feel.
Powderfinger and Silverchair 2007 - this concert reminds me of one of my best friends because we went together (her dad got us in for free because he did security for it) just because we felt like screaming. It’s one of my earliest memories of hanging out with her and we’re still best friends 10 years later ♥
Dragon 2012, 2013, 2014 - Just lumping all these in together because honestly nobody probably knows/cares who Dragon is anyway but they’re a band I share with my dad so that’s pretty special to me. And their lyrics are gorgeous.
Stone Music Fest 2013 - I SAW BILLY JOEL AND I DIED. He was an artist I thought I’d never have the chance to see and it was honestly such a bucket list moment for me. I’ll never forget it. The whole two days is one of my best memories.
Idina Menzel 2013 - I went alone and still had the greatest time so I’d say it makes me feel empowered. Also I remember crying a lot and feeling a lot of things that night. She sang Learn to Live Without and it really hit me.
Passenger 2013 - *heart eyes* I could listen to him sing forever. And he has great banter between songs. 10/10 would see again.
The Angels 2013 - Finally being able to experience standing in a crowd of people screaming “no way, get fucked, fuck off” duringthe chorus of Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again? was surreal.
Missy Higgins 2013 - MY SUN AND MOON AND STARS AND THE VOICE OF MY SOUL. The experience of seeing my favourite artist live was unforgettable. Her live versions are note perfect but she never sings a song the same way twice which makes her concerts even more special.
Missy Higgins 2014 - EVEN BETTER THAN THE FIRST TIME. She played with a full band this time (first concert was just her and a piano and guitar) which absolutely blew me away. Then she played Warm Whispers, my fave song but one I thought I’d never hear live, and I barely kept it together. My favourite concert of all time.
Mental as Anything 2014, 2016 - I went to both these concerts with my dad too and it makes me so proud that we have all this music we can share and connect over.
coffee: what’s your starbucks order, and who would you trust to order for you, if anyone?
We don’t have a Starbucks here but my regular coffee order is pretty basic - cappuccino with no sugar - and I’d trust basically anybody to order that for me. I guess the most complicated order I make is an iced latte (basically an espresso shot and milk made over ice) because people often confuse it for an iced coffee with cream and ice-cream (yuckkkk).
