Nicer weather meant more time outside, and Livvy would never complain about that. Could she enjoy an afternoon drinking a glass of wine while sitting inside her home, looking out at the ocean? Absolutely. But it was better when she could sit on the patio set that she had just pulled out of storage, cleaned up, and arranged facing the ocean. Now, barely an afternoon went by that Livvy didn't spend time curled up in the corner, sweatshirt and shorts on, either a glass of wine or coffee nearby as she let the stress of the day just melt away, fill her head with ease, instead. That particular afternoon, she had just brought out a bottle of wine and glass, setting them down on the table and flicking on the nearby lights when she heard the sounds of someone next door, turning to look over her shoulder. She hadn't gotten to know that neighbor just yet, past introducing herself when she had moved in and welcoming her to the neighborhood. She hesitated for a moment before turning towards her and lifting a hand in greeting. "Hi! Gearing up to be a nice night, right?" she smiled, tilting her head towards the patio. "Would you care for a glass of wine? I don't mind the company."
