Donald Trump wasn’t just attempting a coup, he couldn’t resist the temptation to do some serious grifting in the process.

Trump paid Kimberly Guilfoyle $60,000 to give a 2 to 3 minute speech at his incitement rally prior to the assault on the US Capitol. Guilfoyle is Don Jr.’s fiancée. This came out of the $250 million Trump raised from donors who were told the money was going for legal and related expenses to defend his bogus claim that the election was stolen.
I hope the Justice Department is looking into Trump’s efforts to mislead potential donors.
