Okay, so I can’t tell lots of great things because MASSIVE spoilers. There’s so many plottwists in this series haha but yes! Yuureitou is written and drawn Nogizaka Tarou (I think he also did Team Medical Dragon, I read quite a bit of that in the past. Pretty good as well!). Started on 2011, ongoing at 6 volumes but seems to be in endgames as far as I can tell.
so it starts with the first clocktower murder; adoptive daughter murders her mother by placing her into the face of clock by strapping her on the clock hands so when those come together… and well you can piece together the rest.
2 years later there are rumours that the tower is haunted and again body is found from the tower. The victim is Taichi Amano’s - our protag’s - acquaintance and he as well as young man called Tetsuo who helped him earlier are framed as killers and they have to run away.
Tetsuo is connected to the clock tower through his past as well as the treasure that lies in the tower. It’s basically a maze of lethal traps and puzzles - who solves those gets the treasure and so on. Amano knows absolutely nothing about Tetsuo but has no choice but to go according to his will. This all the while they’re trying to get themselves clean from suspicions and being chased by the actual murderer who seems to have some sort of connection to Tetsuo as well.
It does require some critical thinking though plus it can be super misleading, it fixes lots of things that might piss you off at start.

The new announcement of a new island didn't impress Shintaro in the slightest. In fact, if he were to look for a good side of an amusement park in that place was the fact that most students there would be all over the place, enjoying it as if life would allow them to be that happy. But with them out of the main island, he would find himself a more peaceful time in his own room and even in the library. As far as he could be from people, the better he would feel.
The announcement happened when he was in the room, alone for a change, and he hadn't moved a single muscle since then. There wasn't much he could do without a computer or a more useful phone to use. The boy would spend hours laying in his bed, staring at the roof, thinking about things that didn't interest him at all. He was used to it. He has always been.
A click, and the door was opened. As only one other person shared that room with him, it wasn't necessary to shoot a glance at the door. What was she doing there, now that they had opened an amusement park? Wasn't she the kind of person who would spend hours enjoying the park?
"I thought you would be over there." Although Shintaro had no desire to actually have a conversation with his roommate, words still left his mouth. "Afraid the weather will ruin your hair?" Because well, wasn't it supposed to be raining pretty much everyday? It really would be a horrible time to go and enjoy an amusement park under heavy rain.
