Progress. After realizing I didn't have a PH2 screwdriver that was narrow enough to get the feet on the front of the desk.

The finished product first for those of you that are feeling impatient.

Flipping it by myself wasn't the most fun. But hey, it fits!

And done. Now to clean the hell out of the office and get this looking battlestation ready.

God Help me, I am slow at assembling furniture and my office was already lacking space, so working with 3 desks in the mix was a bit tough. You can see the split on the old desk here even better, though it got a lot worse after removing the clamp and moving the desk out.

I also upgraded my two side monitors. I ditched the old 20" Dell e panels (1600x900, TN panels) in favor of two more Dell 23" p2314ht's (1920x1080 IPS).

The old desk. It was free, handmade antique. But sadly even after resurrecting it and refinishing it, it split down the middle on the side and the top - as you can see with the clamp on the side of the desk. It wasn't enough to keep me from using it in the mean time, but definitely a worry with so much equipment on it.

The Post-holiday Battlestation!! Workspace

The Dell 25" was too light for the monitor arm. 8lbs dumbbell velcroed to the arm. Philips Hue Bloom velcroed to the weight. I removed the stand off the Hue Bloom.

Bose Wireless Adapter connected to the soundbar via 3.5mm. I have 2x Bose Soundtouch 10s that connect the ecosystem. Soundbar also connected to the computer via USB.

3x Corsair SP120 RGBs came with the case so I tossed on the back of the AIO radiator for extra cool...ing.

"Alexa, trigger Office" I have an IFTTT script that will assign the desk lamp to RED, lightstrip to GREEN and bloom to BLUE then it'll set the 3 lights to color loop.

Corsair RGB LED Strips on back and side of case, and on back of monitor. Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus on back edge of desk. I have the desk about 6" off the wall for better light bleeding/blending, extra room for my monitors to swing and for spacious cable wrangling.
