He knew it was irrational to be yelling at her like this, it wasn’t her fault that he was this upset. It was his blasted brother, for maybe the millionth time, that set him off and on a warpath. Poor Claire just happened to be the first person he stumbled upon, lashing out at her out of frustration more than anything... Sighing out, the god was about to apologize but then she’s throwing things back at him and he can’t handle it.
For a moment he just stops.
Stops before he does something to her that he was going to regret later. he last comment causes him to drop the arm he’d raised to cover his face. Shaking his head despondently, the thunderer just watches her for a moment. Blue eyes meeting blue eyes, he’s sickened by her rage towards him. ❛ You may not have done something wrong, to begin with, but that comment was completely distasteful and unwarranted. ❜ Pushing past her, the god enters the room and slams the door closed behind him, wanting to stew in silence...

kate tried to, but they ended up saying it at the same time.

“Breaking into the complex is a medium level offence, so...” Natasha shrugs. “You should get away with this.”
Natasha is watching Claire break into the back of the Walmart complex. “It would be fun.” she said. “Let’s ride the bikes around the shop and be cute,” she said.
She watched from the ground a few meters away as she kept look out. Two Avengers should certainly be able to break into a random non-24 hour Walmart without detection. Yet there is something to be said of watching your partner do what they are best at to participate in something so silly.
A smile crept across her lips as she quipped, “Hey hotshot, have you gotten in yet?”

“Time alone allows for someone to know them self.” Natasha deflected sternly meeting Claire’s gaze.
The Black Widow was used to being alone. Surviving alone. Being apart of SHIELD with their rules and regulations mirrored Red Room, but the operations worked differently.
To be quite honest, the redhead enjoys her time alone almost relishes it. Closing people out is second nature to her. Trusting others and letting them in, now that is something that could get her killed.
Claire doesn’t deserve that treatment though. She was the reason Natasha was even here today. As Claire is the one person she fully trusts in this realm, Nat decides to offer, “Why don’t you come back with me then?”

Natasha is tired but willing to help with self care. They recently returned from a mission and they had a couple close calls. After being released from medical she high tailed it out of there for some R&R. Claire of course being apart of that.
