Calming Circle #2, anyone? (Please read.)

So I just went to check the Hayffie tag this morning, and guys, what the heck happened again? I though we reached our worst state with the hater posts, but now it seems we're all starting to fight each other? No! I don't want to leave the tag because Hayffie are my precious babies, but I feel really tempted to. I'm not doing a massive post again, as I don't want to spam my other followers, so I'll just say this. Can we all chill out once and for all? I'm not willing to take any side in these fights, as it seems every thing we say can be hold against us lately. But this tag used to make me very happy. It was funny, creative, artistic, rich, just like every single one of you, I felt like I was part of a big, lovely family. But now it's all gone to the dogs because all my favorite people are fighting and I hate it. Can't we all join the Calming Circle, take a deep breath and come back to the way we were? I know some posts annoy us, I'm pretty sure some of mine did, but come on, can we be mature and act like respectable adults? I'm not trying to start anything, god no. I just consider you all as my friends, and this is starting to be painful to all of us. I'll finish by this. People browsing this tag all have one thing in common, it's love for Hayffie. Now we might not envision it the same way, but still. Can't you realize how lucky we are to have each other? We can share, talk, fangirl without being judged, because we all are in the same ship, and that's what's supposed to make it strong. That's what used to make it so beautiful to me. Can we try and start again, please? I still love each and every one of you. Please think about it, okay? I'll be in the Calming Circle in the meantime, hopefully not on my own. Love, Your Wil. Fellow Hayffie Shippers,

I'm sorry to spam those of my followers who don't care about Hayffie, but I figured I had to speak my mind about the violence that has reached our peaceful Hayffie tag since yesterday. Honestly, I have to say I'm a little disappointed in our fandom right now. I thought we new better than to react to hate by hate... Now I know that person probably shouldn't have tagged her post Hayffie, but that's not a reason to react like most of us did -I exclude, of course, the calming circle started by Grace, The-Dodo-Bird, Effie's-Scrapbook and such, in which I'm happy to take part. Everyone's entitled to a different opinion, and I believe everyone should be able to express is. The tagging part was wrong, yes. But still, we should respect this opinion just like the others HG readers -mostly- respect ours. I think reacting as violently seemed a lot childish and immature. I'm pretty sure that's not what Effie would have done. (Yeah, that's kind of a lame argument, but still. We all love her, so we should think about our manners a little too.) I ship a lot of unpopular ships, and, trust me, the hate we receive in the Hayffie tag is nothing compared to some others. Try shipping Gelphie, or Doctor/Donna for example. Or just liking Catherine Tate. It's way worse, as far as hate is concerned... Plus I didn't find the original message that hateful anyway. At least there were arguments -most of which I disagree with, but still. If we want to respond adequatly, we should either ignore or calmly argue, not hate on people we don't know, don't you think? Last but not least, I'd just like to say that I somehow also understand why the hater was pissed off with Hayffie. I mean, of course, I'm a mad shipper, but I do know that finding ships you don't ship constantly thrown through charcacter's tags is annoting. My dash is made of 40% Ten/Rose posts while I ship Ten/Donna (Doctor Who), and in all honesty, it pisses me off sometimes, even if I don't make a fuss about it. So all in all, my point is everyone is entilted to an opinion, and even if the fact it was tagged Hayffie wasn't clever, I don't think it reflects good on our ship to react the way some of us did. And it drove scribble-scratch away from the ship, which makes me desperately sad, way more than any hateful post could have done. Dearest, you will be missed. Thanks for reading... And don't hate me for that, okay? I still love you guise and Hayffie. [And for those of you it might interest, I'm working on something right now. :3]
