Maçarico Lodge
Your home in the Amazon Jungle Rustic and comfortable.
The Maçarico Eco Lodge its located at a distance of approximately 90 kilometers south of the city of Manaus in the Maçarico region.
The Lodge was built in the rustic style (predominantly wood) but at the same thinking in the comfort and well being of the guests. It was built on the lakeside which makes the place very ventilated during the day and with a privileged view allowing the guests to enjoy the beautiful image of the lake and at times watching animals as birds and dolphins.
The Maçarico Lodge has 8 triples rooms all with air conditioning, private bathroom with hot shower, a small refrigerator and ceramic floors.
The Lodge has a reception with a bar to receive and welcome all the guests, dining room, two places for hammocks (a lounge for hammock and another place under the trees) allowing the guests to relax reading a book, resting after the lunch or even enjoying the beautiful view of the lake.
At this lodge we develop activties as eco-tourism and sport fishing during the period of the dry season which is from August to November.

Juma Floating Lodge
The Juma floating Lodge is located 100 kilometers away from the city of Manaus. The Journey from Manaus to the lodge is done in four parts. Two parts are done by land and the other two parts are done by speed boat. The whole journey from Manaus to the Lodge takes about three and half hours and the last part to reach the lodge its done by speed boat crossing the forest exploring lakes and small tributaries.
The Juma floating lodge has accommodation with fan and accommodation with air conditioning and private bathroom in all rooms. A varandah built in front of the rooms enables the guests to relax in hammocks while observing dolphins going by or caymans stretching themselves out on the opposite bank. This is normally possible in the dry season from September to December. There is energy 24 hours a day, so charging batteries and other equipment is possible. In the rainy season it is possible to go paddling exploring the flooded when visitors have a chance to watch monkeys going by. In the dry season, it is fishing time. What about going fishing for the delicious peacock bass or yet, pulling in a three pound one there is a fishing for piranhas, cayman spotting, and of course trekking and sleeping in the forest. Then finish your tour by visiting the local people. And remember, you are always accompanied by your guide and served by friendly Amazon People.

Maçarico Camping 4D/3N
This package is a great option to learn about the Amazon as it gives the group a chance to do all the activities that are done in other tours and also an opportunity to spend a night camping out in the forest.
Activities;
Piranha fishing, spear fishing at night, dolphin watching, sunrise and sunset watching, cayman spotting, at night, jungle trekking, visiting the local people, canoeing in the flooded forest and small channels (creeks) and sleeping in the forest for one night.
Trip Itinerary
Day one: At 8am transfer from the hotel to the Ceasa port where a speed boat is used to take visitors to the meeting of the waters (Juction of the two rivers), the Negro river and the Solimões river. From there they are taken to the Careiro Village on the other side of the Solimões river. From there the journey continues by car for about an hour to the Paraná do Mamori River. From there another speed-boat takes the group to the lodge arriving there at about 11am.
At 2:30pm the activities begin, the group leaves by motorized canoe for piranha fishing, dolphin and bird watching and the sunset watching at about 6:30pm. After dinner cayman spotting is done. It’s an activity where the guide catches a cayman and gives technical information about it
Day two: At 5:30am a canoe trip is done to watch the sunrise and to get a close up view of the forest waking up to a new day. At 7am breakfast is served and then at 8am a jungle walk starts and it goes up to 11:30am. During the walk, the guide explains valuable information about the forest. Much is learned about medicinal plants, spiders, trees and there is even a chance of seeing monkeys. The afternoon activity starts at 3pm. It is canoeing in the flooded forest and in the small channels. It is a great opportunity to see and learn about the flora and fauna of this fantastic Amazon jungle.
Day Three: From 8am to 11am, the group goes to visit the home of a local family to see and learn their simple and fantastic way of living in the forest. After visiting the locals, the group returns to the lodge and at 12:30pm the lunch is served. After lunch at 3pm the group leaves for an overnight in the forest. A good chance to learn about the night life in the forest.
Day Four: After having breakfast in the jungle, another trekking its done starting from the place where the nights was spend and the trekking will end at the lodge around 11am.
At 12pm the lunch is served and at 1:30pm begins the Journey back to the city of Manaus getting there at about 4pm.
