My piece for the @strahdzine Memento mori zine ! I am so glad to be part of this project and to share more and more love to Curse of Strahd (campaign that I am currently DMing for more than a year now)

Drawtober day 3: BBEG

Traditionally Strahd is the BBEG of COS and I love drawing him so I still wanted to include him in this piece, however in my campaign Rahadin has pivoted to become our BBEG. So I did a piece with both of them.

Basically I wanted to illustrate Strahd and Rahadin’s deals with the Dark Powers. Usually Rahadin doesn’t make a deal with them, but in my game he feels betrayed and abandoned by Strahd and wants revenge on him so he turned to the Dark Powers. My party(and Strahd himself) believe Vampyr to be the strongest of the powers within the temple and therefor that’s who Rahadin would make a deal with. In reality he made a pact with Tenebrous. Tenebrous and Vampyr have always been rivals and now they’re playing a twisted, deadly game of chess with the lives of Barovia.

Post first campaign, Zepher ended up killing Juno. Why? A question that will need to be revealed.

Little did Zepher know that Juno has the ability to reincarnate.

Juno felt defeated that the only person left who might understand his loss of Cobweb/Valentine, his friend, wanted to kill him.... so he let him.

They're fucked up and twisted you guys they need serious therapy and to just talk about their issues!! Someone send help!!

I'm super excited for them to reconnect again, if they ever do! Juno looks so different now 👀
