just letting you guys know that in honour of spooky month, i’m going to be using world’s best skeptic and worst demon shane madej as my mascot instead of hozier ! that’s all, i’m going to do acceptances now !

welcome to the annual amber falls halloween festival, home to all manners of frights and delights ! this community-run festival, sponsored this year in part by oscorp industries, has been the highlight of the halloween season since 1982 !

the festival has something for everyone: games, rides, food, a haunted house, hay rides, a haunted corn maze, a pumpkin carving competition, a beer garden, live music, photo opportunities, and more ! you won’t want to miss our halloween festival, october 31st, opening at 4 pm. post your costumes or your adventures to social media with the tag amber:event1 !

there is no entry fee, but freewill donations for the trevor project will be accepted at the information booth !

below the cut is a list of the different attractions offered at the halloween festival, as well as any relevant ooc information needed.

ooc information:

when : from october 24th to october 31st where : the town fairgrounds tag : please use tag amber:event1 for musing, starters, etc. -threads do not need to be paused or discontinued during the event, but may be if you so choose -as this is a town-hosted event and attendance is not required, unrelated starters can be posted, but may be overlooked as many people are attending the festival, so please use your own discretion -if you would like your character to run a booth / game / ride at the fair, please contact the main directly and we will add it here -limit on employees at the haunted house is 2 characters per player

-information booth: maps, assistance, wristbands for entry into beer garden, tickets for rides, first aid // run by peter parker, steve harrington, and the youth lgbt+ group of amber falls -face painting: mostly for children, but adults not turned away // run by sirius black -pet halloween costume picture contest: audience voting, some adoptable pets featured // run bucky barnes & clint barton -spooky treats: halloween themed baked goods // run by bonnibeau gumball -spooky soccer: if you can hit the pumpkin-painted soccer ball into the goal, you get a prize // run by minho & jay -scavenger hunt: you get a list of things to find at the festival, and you get clues and have to figure which booth to go to // run by barry allen
