Amber Amburo the wearied Lore
So I changed her from being just 🇸🇴 to being 🇸🇴+🇬🇧, that’s why she looks lighter. I also decided to give her gray eyes like her dad.
Where did the idea come from:
Amber is a blend of two pcs play throughs.Amburo means ember which I think would reflect her defiant attitude.
Childhood:
Amber would have entered the orphanage at about 3, having being found abandoned in one of the flats in the town.
She chooses to make her name sound more ‘white’ not feeling attached to her culture as a result of her mother abandoning her ,internalised racism did a number on her. But very few call her by her actual name anyway or even know it other than Bailey , Robin and other orphans who knew her as a child .Her mother just being a blur in her memory.Her mother had also been an orphan and also generally wanting a way out of the her situation having been impregnated by a wealthy socialites son, was pretty much paid off to make no word of it to their son when they had found out and then they just dumped Amber a town over and placed her in an orphanage in a small town (doltown) not wanting anyone to know of a illegitimate child’s existence as to not cause any damage to their reputation , news travels fast in town .So her dad pretty much doesn’t know she exists.And her mother decided to ditch Amber to make her life her own assuming her dads side of the family would make life easier for her.But amber barely knows any of this .She kinda guessed her ethnicity from her name and a google search LMAO.
Debts/How does she pay it off:
Originally she had joined the temple , viewing it as a simple way to get paid . But became quite faithful , feeling it to be a place when she belonged as well as deeply admiring and adoring Jordan then.She rose the ranks quite fast . Was even sent out on a mission trip. To retrieve the spear…This is kinda where her belief and faith in the church had faltered.Having seen things she never wanted to be privy to as well as having been tattooed all over by the islanders which she still hasn’t removed any except the ones that had been on her face not having saved enough money for the sheer amount that decorate her body so she just covering it up with makeup when needed .Struggling with understanding why the temple would so willingly put her in danger, she genuinely thought she'd be stuck on the island forever.The betrayal stung a lot more than anything else because she thought the temple would actively be a beacon of good in the shithole that is the town .She still has her Angel TF , but hides it as well as hardly visiting the temple due to having complicated feelings with it .She hasn’t lost her Angel TF she still wants money from the temple but subconsciously still had an attachments to it.(her lore with the temple might change in future IDK GUYS)She finds other ways to pay off debts, such as selling antiques , or being a criminal or dancing at the brothelor the strip Club.
