Ambitious Loyalty | Gideon&Elias
There weren’t very many people Gideon trusted. In reality, the only way he could do business with a majority of people involved using what they wanted to his advantage. If he didn’t know what someone truly wanted, they were useless to him.
Cilla wanted truth. Lance wanted justice. The servants wanted money. The knights wanted glory. Geneva wanted... Well, he didn’t really know what Geneva wanted. That was a huge part of the problem. But he needed something done, and he knew who he wanted to do it, and he knew exactly what he wanted.
“Elias,” he greeted from his throne as the knight entered. “I apologize for how long it took for us to finally have some one-on-one.”
