i feel bad because what Skids is gonna remember dating his Ambulon, of all people?

I wanted to help. I cleaned. I think I was always interested in something like... uhh. We didn't really have as big of a variety of food and drink as Earth does, but I wanted to help people, and I guess those things feel comforting.

I had to learn about nutritional additives and alternatives for my job, but it wasn't very much, and it wasn't nearly enough to where I'd call myself a cook. Not by our standards and certainly not by Earth's.

I liked spending time at the bar because I enjoyed watching the drinks be made. I didn't drink much myself. I would've liked to learn to do that. Maybe when people had finally warmed up to me. They had some jaded people on the Lost Light. If I had more time, maybe I wouldn't have felt so out of place.
