That's what the man with the perfectly bored expression was doing outside the Scotland Yard HQ, leaning against the boot of a car--a car belonging to a Met detective, a certain Amelia Kelly--and waiting for its owner to come back out of the building.
When he caught sight of her, he didn't move from his spot, but took out one of his earbuds and called out cheerfully, "Detective Constable! Hello. May I have a minute of your time?"
