Amelia and Sarah at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. I am thinking about smelling those flowers. I had to quarantine before it was officially recommended. Besides going on our flat roof, I do not go down from our apartment. I am glad we are together and Amelia got home safe from Spain, albeit without testing, we don’t know if she was ill from the coronavirus. Feeling the need to photograph equine but it has been too cold ....for me. The story here is that the white pony, Maya, was saved from slaughter. Bought at an auction for $40. Maya was pregnant with her son, Spider, a feisty child, on the left. Amelia and Babie, July 2017. Last photos before @this.is.amelia goes away to college. Babie is a rescued macaque, a triple amputee from a dog attack. Babie is now in a safe forever home with a knowledgeable & loving caretaker and this petite girl has adapted well.
