Amelinda Clover Boho Rainbow Throw Pillow
In Transition
Amelinda had already gathered her things from the little shop she worked at and let the owner know she was going to be moving soon. Today, like the last couple of days she would come to help out and also see that the bottles of oils she still had from her last batch found homes.
Though her oils were technically on sale since she would not be working here anymore, Amel would still sometimes just throw in a couple extra for free. She knew she would miss some of the customers they would get, and it made things a little bittersweet, but she knew her family could use a fresh start in a different place.
However, today she was staring at the silver ring on her right hand a bit solemnly while she waited for more customers to show up. The blue gem glinted in the light of the store and she sighed a little. Amel then clasped her hands together and absentmindedly rubbed the gem with one of her fingers. “Should I...“ she began to muse but then shook her head. “Zat vould likely be bozering him. Und...zings a probably busy vith his family...I haven’t even seen Pepi in avhile...”
Amelinda looked down into the glass case. She could see the couple bottles of lavender she was trying to set aside for the bubbly younger woman but she sighed again. She’ll probably have to end up selling them to someone else. She was only going to be working here for a few more days before she left and focused more on helping her family prepare for their move. Subconsciously she began to rub the ring more.
“I hope I do see her zough...und maybe she could pass ze news along to her brozer so I don’t have to vorry about interrupting anyzing important...”

Royal Suits au Karlene and Amelinda. Karle’s on the left, Amel on the right.
The Ambitious Warrior Princess and the Mothering Soul: the precious eldest twin daughters of the ‘Red Demon’ Aldrich.
Karlene has a bit of a wild spark to her and an ambition to try and match some of her mama Marga’s family in swordsmanship. (Namely her grandfather Seff, and her uncles Sechiel and Rio.) Some of her papa’s family would say she is a force to be reckoned with, even from a young age, and the only way some of them could ‘deal‘ with her is if her twin, or her parents were around or nearby.
She was a bit of a restless child, and some of it still remains now. Manifesting in her many trips to the Schwarzschild Stronghold to see if one of the three she seeks to match is there to challenge to a spar. Some of the trips are ‘secret’, but her mother knows and subsequently her father as well.
It is possible that she mainly wants to help her father and her uncle Marcel keep the clan in line in her own way, and is why she at times acts the way she does, just to see what others will do.
Amelinda on the other hand is the naturally calmer and perhaps harder to read of the two. There is a certain grace she carries that can conceal her true feelings or state of being from most people. However, it is not wise to do wrong in front of her or mess with those she cares about. If she has to, she will strike someone down with the same calmness she has while taking care of flowers or reading to the children.
Speaking of children, Amel has found that she enjoys being around the children of her mother’s clan, and of her father’s clan. She seems to have soothing presence to them despite her heritage, and caring for them seems to come naturally to her.
So she has unofficially tasked herself with helping to guide them towards the right paths in their lives. Giving good natured advice when she can, and teaching them to stand up for what is right and those they love. And helping them to find their inner strengths or what they may want to learn.
She does wish she could have quelled more of her twin;s wildness, but at least she can always calm Karle down when she gets too out of control or upset.
Triumvirate
There was an uncomfortable, tense silence in the room between the three individuals presence. Gathered together due to the request of a concerned, and loving mother. Two of them, twins, sat on one side of the table. The third, their cousin, sat across from them. Three cups of tea sat on the table, untouched at the moment.
The silence was broken by a soft sigh coming from Amelinda, who had been looking at her cousin in concern. She picked up her tea and quietly sipped at it. She wasn’t sure how to go about what her dear mama Darcia asked of her and her twin. She did not know her cousin well enough to know the best approach. His twin she knew better.
A short huff followed after from her twin, Karlene, sitting next to her. She wasn’t looking at the table. She wasn’t looking at her cousin, or her twin. Her gaze was adverted to a different part of the room. Her arms were crossed and she had one leg crossed over the other as she was looking away from the situation. not really focused at anything. A slight look of annoyance on her face. Her cousin was lucky she adored his mother, or she might not have agreed to try.
Their cousin, Alvara, was staring down into his cup of tea. Looking a bit lost and uncertain. He was a bit tense because of Karlene’s presence, remembering quite well the last time they saw each other. He wasn’t sure how much anger she still had towards him, and he really didn’t have much of a clue about how Amelinda may feel about him. He did not even know if anything good would come out of this. How could they do something for him when he was uncertain what he wanted out of himself?
the next sound that occurred started two of the three people in the room. Amel almost dropped her cup and Alva looked up suddenly from his. Their eyes went to Karlene who had uncrossed her arms and slammed a hand on the table.
The blonde stood, drew her sword and pointed it towards her cousin. “I am tried of zat pitiful und pathetic look on your face Alvara!” she said.
“Karle...zere’s no need to bring out your sword...“ Amel said with concern clearly in her tone. Karlene shot her sister a glance before focusing on Alva once more.
“Ja. Zere is. If he had only remembered his place, who he is, vhat his heritage is he vouldn’t be in zis situation now! Everyone at some point gives up somezing zey vant for ze bigger picture, for ze better of many. Vhat your heart vanted Alvara vas not vorth ze consequences it caused. Deep down you know zat! Und I vill say it again. She vas not yours to have,“ Karlene said. “But...you vere right about one zing. Your death is not ze answer. But Gott you are such an idiot und I can’t stand you right now! If you don’t shape up after zis zen I really vill be done vith you,“ she added.
Amel and Alva both looked at Karlene with slight nervousness and confusion. However, Karlene did not relax her stance or put away her sword. Amel opened her mouth to speak but Karlene spoke again first.
“I doubt I can be sympathetic to your emotions on zis in any way. You vant to spout zings about your heart, und feelings? Zen zat is Amel’s department. Me? Vell you see my sword don’t you? I’m going ot try and regrow you a backbone. Because somehow you’ve become more pathetic since I saw you last. Last time you could defend against my anger. This time...I could push you over easily, even if I were to attack blindly! .Grab your sword or borrow Amel’s und meet me outside now, Ve are getting started zis instant.“
“K-Karlene, are you sure...“ Amel began to protest.
“You have your approaches, my dear princess twin, und I have mine. Let’s go Alvara!“
“A-ach! A-alright...“ he sputtered in disbelief.
Sun’s Inspiration
Later in the day, after stopping to get some flowers, Helios was making his stops. Each giftbag he put together now had a flower sticking out of it. His first stop had been to the bakery where he gave Freida, Sofie, and Iris theirs, along with giving their mothers, his aunties-the twin owners, one each as well. Next stop was the cafe where he gave his mother a tiger-lily and slipped it into her hair.
Then he gave his dear big sister her bag, which in addition to the chocolate inside and the daffodil sticking out, had another little gift inside for her as well. He also had bags for Lily, Elthea, and even Lula. Lula had tried to politely refuse, but he said to consider it as a thank you for helping his mother by continuing to work with her, and caring about her when she got sick.
His last stop?
The home of the Fleischers.
He smiled a bit shyly when Amelinda answered the door. “Oh, hallo Helios. How nice to see you,” she greeted softly with a smile. However, it faded slightly when she noticed he looked tired, and perhaps lacking proper rest in general. “Are you alright? You’re looking a little exhausted...”
“Hello Amel! I’m alright, I was up bright and early today making chocolates. I can’t keep the kitchen too tied up because my mama needs it too, you know. So I had to be up before her to get my shot for what I wanted to do,” he explained with a little laugh. “Ah, but! Happy Valentines day!” he added and held up the last three gift bags he had, one looking slightly larger than the other two.
“I see...“ she said softly though not entirely convinced it was the full story. “Happy Valentine’s day Helios und you said you made chocolates?“
“Ja! I hope you, your sister, and your mother like them,“ he responded. The first bag he handed her had a yellow rose sticking out of it. “That one is for Karle,“ he said and then handed her the second. This one had a redish pink rose sticking out of it. “That one is for your mother...“ he trailed of as he held the bigger of the three bags out to her. This one had a cream white rose sticking out of it, but it also had something extra inside. “And...this one is yours Amel.“
Amelinda blinked as she took the bags and looked at them for a moment. How thoughtful of him to do this and think of them. “Danke Helios, I’m sure they will appreciate it, as do I. Es...es tut mir leid ve don’t have anyzing for you zough.”
Helios shook his head with a smile. “It’s alright. I hope you all enjoy,” he said softly. He then waved and turned to leave, but then he stopped. “Um...hey Amelinda?”
“Ja?“ she responded as she lightly tilted her head. She watched as he turned back around and moved close to her. He was blushing faintly.
“I...I....“ he trailed off and gently placed a hand on one of her cheeks before moving to kiss the other cheek. “I-I...I hope you have a good day!“ he spouted quickly and nervously before turning and running off back for home, his face slowly becoming redder and redder by the moment.
And he was also just a little bit worried some of the wolf clan might decend upon him any minute. She was one of the ‘young princesses’ of the Schwartzchilds after all.
Amel stood in the doorway stunned by what just happened. If she wasn’t holding the bags she would bring a hand to the cheek he kissed. Hearing one of her little brothers calling out to her snapped her out of it. “S-silly Helios...” she murmured softly before heading back inside and closing the door.
Levels of Care
Amelinda sighed softly as she lowered her hands. “Danke Diet. You know I appreciate it und vill make it up to you,” she said. For a moment she was confused when he said something about the one with her and how he had high expectations of him. However, it came to her quickly. She thought she had been feeling the late wolf king’s presence more strongly lately.
Out of habit, she lightly placed a hand over her heart as she focused on that unique feeling of protectiveness he provided..”Vell, I zink he just knows ze grand potential vithin you Diet,” she said as she watched her cousin start to walk away. “I vouldn’t dwell on it too much, I know you’ll do great zings, just by being you. Until you get back zough I’ll go see ze triplets. I miss zem as vell,” she added with a soft chuckle and began to head towards where she believed she could at least find one of them.
“Lord Seff, bitte, do not vorry, I do not zink you’ll be disappointed in Dietrich. He vill be a grand leader und I vill alvays be villing to lend him a hand or advice vhen he vants or needs it und I am able,“ Amel whispered quietly before lowering her hand from her heart.
Matter of Emotion
“Mama und papa do sometimes mention how zey vould like you to stop by for a moment or two at least,“ Amel said with a little chuckle as she looked at Dietrich again. “I vonder vhat kind of gifts aunt Sonjya has zis time. Zey can be quite interesting,“ she added. Amelinda then lightly crossed her arms as well. Still thinking the best way to approach the situation about her twin. She never liked holding back information from Diet. She may keep some things to herself when it came to Leo and Len.
But Dietrich?
She likely would count on him as much as he would count on her. Almost like thir fathers.
Amelinda sighed softly, she had to be honest with him. Karlene would just have to be mad at her later. “You’re right, ve don’t usually fight, per say. Ve may have a disagreement or two, or she refuses to talk to me about vhat’s she’s feeling, but ve get along,” she began. “I don’t zink she’s actually mad at me, but...perhaps doesn’t vant to burden me vith her emotions or her aura. I zink she is still adjusting to being a big sister, but also...”
She trailed off for a moment to uncross an arm to bring a hand to her cheek. “Karle...doesn’t seem to be able to handle when our papa is being like a lovesick young man und showering our mama in an overabundance of love, affection, und attention. She...tends to leave home for few days, I zink more often zan not to go visit or train Domita, or spends most of ze days in ze forests practicing her swordsmanship. I zink she is having trouble dealing vith some of her own emotions und doesn’t know how to handle zem,” she continued. Amel then looked at Dietrich with a slightly tilted head.
“Also...she...I zink she vould benefit from having a conversation vith you Diet. She’s...last month on our birthday she cast some sort of spell to give you some peace of mind und help you relax, und...take avay any troubles or stress you may have been feeling because of her.“
