i actually can’t fricking concentrate on our choir singing thing bc we have to sing ‘Sound of Silence’. why i can’t concentrate you may ask? THE FIRST FRICKIN LINE IS ‘HELLO DARKNESS MY OLD FRIEND’ AND I CAN’T STOP THINKING ABOUT ALL THOSE FRCIKING MEMES MAN I’VE ALREADY LAUGH LIKE 10 TIMES THIS DAY

okay so today I have a random literary rant because I've been doing math for four hours straight and I really need to do something... non-math-y 

So a looong time ago (like, middle or elementary school) I read this short story called "All Summer in a day" 

And for whatever reason, that story has haunted me for years and years and I only now got around to looking it up... 

Lo and behold I find out the author is none other than the glorious Bradbury.

Of COURSE it would be him. It couldn't be any other author I sort of like, it has the be the one of whom I would buy every single one of his books and make them required reading for all schools forever. 

Idk it just blew my mind that this random author has been unconciously influencing my thought process from so long ago

/also I'm reading Martian Chronicles atm so that's probably what's making me more obsessed with this guy than usual
