AHH! Zero, I’m so happy to know that you love TMIBT and you still reread it sometimes? What the heck, that’s so freaking cool. I feel like that fic really launched me fully into the phandom because I had never had so many people actively engaging with me about a fic before and I was just so overwhelmed and happy about it.

i only know the japanese songs from arcades and it’s mostly like, 5th mix stuff so my instinct is to recommend “Break Down,” “Sana molette ne ente,” and “tsugaru” cuz those were my warm-up songs back in the day XD

break down and tsugaru are good on light but i love them too much on heavy ghfdghfd i agree with the stepmania bit but theyre rich they can just ebay ddr extreme 8th mix and do speed over beethoven and love shine lmao

I'm just going to preface this by saying I haven't really been listening to new stuff for a while so everything on here is basically going to be at least a year (mostly more) old. I've also never claimed to have good taste in music either, so uh, beware haha.

I wouldn’t say I’m obsessed with ALL of these but these are the songs/bands I’ve been listening to a lot lately.

Paramore - 26

I could honestly recommend most of their songs because I really love them and they got me through a lot last year. I recently saw them in concert and it was one of the best experiences so they're still on a regular rotation for me.

Soccer Mommy - Your Dog

This band opened for Paramore and it was the first time I had ever heard them. I enjoyed them live so I decided to give their stuff a listen.

Breaking Benjamin - Into the Nothing

I saw them in concert this year as well which is something I’ve wanted to do for years! A lot of their songs give me post apocalyptic vibes.

LiSA - Datte Atashi no Hero

This is one of the ending theme songs from the anime My Hero Academia! 

My Fair Fiend - Crystal Eyes　

This is a band that sadly isn’t together anymore but I loved this whole album. I really hope Callie continues with her music in some form or another.

Lacey Sturm - Roxanne

This is a rock cover of the Police’s Roxanne. Lacey Sturm was the lead singer of Flyleaf so if you ever liked them you’ll probably dig this as well.

Alanis Morissette - Everything 

I hadn’t listened to this song in probably a few years but heard it again recently and it immediately made me think of Dan & Phil (from Dan’s point of view). If any of my writer friends ever need any prompts please feel free to write a fic inspired by this song haha

10 Years - Wasteland

Both of these I recently started listening to again after downloading a bunch of early 2000s rock songs.(I could probably make a whole list of just songs from this time...these were my high school years, okay)

Butch Walker(Marvelous 3) - Cigarette Lighter Love Song　

I found out about this song from a fic in one of my old fandoms. I can’t remember why but I recently thought about the fic and had to go look the song up again.
