Then you get to pick a message to put on the on the photo and again there you have a great gift, and it is also full of that amazing Bigelow Tea.
Both of these would make beautiful special gifts for any one if your life.
You can head over the Bigelow Tea website and personalize the perfect gift for someone on your list today.
I just love the Bigelow Tea Company and I really love that it is 100% American made by an American Family; an American Company for the American consumer which you can get at an American Retailer…Walmart!
Not that I need another reason to love Bigelow Tea but did you know almost 4 million bags of Bigelow tea have been sent to troops overseas with Bigelow’s Tea for Troops program? How awesome is that?
Now I know I promised you a recipe too. These Vanilla Caramel Glazed Molasses Cookies are delicious and full of rich flavor. My grandma makes the most amazing Molasses Cookies each holiday season and we cannot get enough of those chewy cookies. This is my spin on a family favorite.
I made molasses cookies and decided to update them with a Vanilla Caramel Glaze made from Bigelow Vanilla Caramel Tea. The glaze compliments the molasses perfectly and adds just the right amount of flavor to these decadent cookies.
Once your cookies are made and cooled, you just steep a the tea in some milk, add in some powdered sugar and you are ready to glaze!!
Vanilla Caramel Glazed Molasses Cookies
3/4 cup margarine, melted
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
In a medium bowl, mix together the melted margarine, 1 cup sugar, and egg until smooth.
Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger; blend into the molasses mixture.
Cover, and chill dough for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Place cookies 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until tops are cracked.
These cookies remind me so much of Christmas time at my grandparent’s. Just one bite and suddenly I am sitting at my grandparent’s on Christmas Eve helping wrap the last few presents.
Oh and guess what these cookies pair fabulously with a steamy mug of Bigelow Tea. A plate of these cookies, your favorite tea and a warm quilt and you are set!!
So there you go not only are you now armed with some great gift ideas, you also have a scrumptious new cookie recipe.
P.S. When you get done drinking all your tea from the tin, it makes the perfect place to store these yummy cookies!!
I hope these ideas have inspired your holiday gift giving and baking!
