In the midst of all this speculation of Fuckhead's health, I must reiterate: as nice as it would be, as much as I would pop the biggest bottles on the day, Him dying does fuck all to the problems he and his group have caused.

Him dying will not solve everything. You need to know this and be aware of it BEFORE you put all hope in it happening that way, and then get the wind knocked out of you when it doesn't happen that way.

He is not a One Off. An accident. Someone who gained power that "came out of nowhere".

That's not what he is.

He is the product of a system that has been working and building towards preparing for someone like him, whether intentionally or not. The issues he and his group have directly caused have only been allowed to happen because of everything that has led to this point. The decline of education, the constant breaks for millionaires/billionaires, the destruction of laws that protect immigrant and workers rights specifically, the emboldening of hatred (racism, sexism, prejudice, etc), the push towards religion and SPECIFICALLY Evangelical American Christianity or other Paid American Religions (Scientology, Mormonism, etc), the intense push for a return to "traditional values" and fundamentalism, the reduction of women's health related rights in southern states, the intentional ignoring of oppression-related issues in marginalized communities- all of this has been happening for YEARS before he ever even ran for office.

It only got loud because he doesn't realize that shame should be associated with his beliefs, ideologies, and the shit he's been doing/causing/encouraging. Because it's fucking vile.

This is not a One Man Is The Problem issue. This is a systemic issue. One man, in the American system, could NOT do what all he has done (both minor and major things) without people around him who agree with him, who support his ideals and values because they align with their own. He is not a One Off issue, he is the direct embodiment of a much larger systemic issue that can be traced to the very bones of the system.

The only good Nazi is a Dead Nazi, absolutely, but you CANNOT assume that killing the Main Current Nazi causes all other Nazis to disappear. If it actually happened that way, we wouldn't be in this situation in the first fucking place.
