omg wait this is going to be sooooo hard tbh. im going to do reading rather than writing bc i only really have ever written for a few ships that i am extremely moved by and i would find it hard to rank between them
zutara... i am SUCHHH an atla fan and i think this is the first ship that i ever really jumped on. like i was 7 years old freaking the fuck out over them i wanted them to kiss so bad. every time they interacted i was like rewinding my tv and playing it over and over again. invented enemies to lovers
l*rry unfortunately deserves a place on this list. this was the fandom that truly opened my mind to slashfic and also to being delusional on the internet. i was fully convinced they were in a secret relationship and posting about it constantly, also the first and only slashfic i ever wrote prior to landoscar
landoscar has truly shot up the list in the past year or so, like i really loved both lando and oscar separately and i read landoscar occasionally in 2023-2024 but something about the championship battle and the way they carried themselves through all of it last year really compelled me. obv i've started writing them now so clearly they mean a lot to me <3
stydia my beloved. i loved teen wolf and as a pretty secret nerd in high school i was obviously basically reading this as self insert x dylan o brien fic <3 but they were sooooo meaningful to me as a duo
dr*mione/dr*rry also unfortunately earns a spot for me. not really because of the ships themselves, but because one of my irl best friends was insanely obsessed with them and has been writing hp fic for years. i always read/beta her stuff because her writing is incredible and i love talking about fic/writing with her even if its not a ship that necessarily moves me initially
