Sathos and Memnos are very, very old and have been together for quite some time—courting long before they became the Lord and Lady of their Courts.
She tries to knock sense into him and it seems like it works sometimes but… It doesn’t. He pretends to care, because deep down their son is only an asset to him. Sathos directly goes against her cold, unfeeling nature to try and ensure her son knows she cares. Poor Kaeris is stuck in the middle because Sathos and Memnos BOTH keep trying to outsmart each other, but find that they can’t (for various reasons).
