amethyst from Steven Universe! I tried doing new things with the eye and hair, and I like how it turned out! I plan to do one of these for a lot of the gems, if not all~

A photo of my amethyst whip in my work space and another laying a blanket so its looks better I guess we can call this version 3.0 it was a pain but its so much nicer looking now. I hope to get a tutorial made soon on how to construct one of these babies.

This is how my Amethsyt whip that I have been working on turned out! I am not 100% happy how it looks (the color, the surface...) But I think its ok for the first cosplay prop I have made by myself. I will cosplay Amethyst on Närcon and Comiccon gamex 2016 in Sweden. Huge thanks to @captainchunkychew for the tutorial on how to make it, it was really helpful <3

Amethyst whip Tutorial

Hey guys I have gotten some feed back on a making a tutorial to make one of our favorite gems weapons amethyst’s whip! I am planning on doing one soon, I want to make it a video tutorial so I can provide you as much information as I can so you can also make a successful prop. ATM I am in the process of rounding up enough $ to get the supplies to make a new whip. I will let you know when I have my tutorial finished.
